- “Let’s Get Loud” by J-Lo comes in as +400 favorite to open Super Bowl 54 in Miami

- What will be the last song of the Super Bowl halftime show? J-Lo’s “Live It Up” is the +200 favorite
Latin pop icons Jennifer Lopez and Shakira will take center stage at this year’s Super Bowl halftime show on February 2 in Miami.
The Grammy-Award winning performers are both singing at the Super Bowl for the first time in their careers and will look to put the music event back on the map following a disappointing performance in 2019.
Multiple online sportsbooks released Super Bowl halftime show specials, with odds on what the first song will be, what song J-Lo will sing first, which song Shakira will debut with and the song to close out the show.
Here’s a closer look at the odds and the best pick heading into Super Bowl 54.
First Song Performed Odds During Super Bowl Halftime Show
Song | Odds |
---|---|
Let’s Get Loud | +400 |
On The Floor | +450 |
Whenever, Wherever | +450 |
Dare | +550 |
Live It Up | +650 |
La Tortura | +700 |
Dinero | +750 |
Can’t Remember To Forget You | +800 |
El Anillo | +850 |
Waka Waka | +900 |
All odds taken on Jan. 19
After a disappointing performance from Maroon 5 and Travis Scott last year, the NFL partnered with Jay-Z and Roc Nation to get the entertainment right in 2020.
It’s not certain which performer will take the stage first, but based on global success, it’s safe to say J-Lo will kick off the halftime show festivities.

What better way to get the crowd going than with J-Lo’s international hit “Let’s Get Loud” which comes in as the +400 favorite. This is traditionally a song Lopez performs mid-setlist at concerts, but it could be one that she breaks out to pump up the Miami crowd.
Another song J-Lo could open with is “On The Floor” — the 2011 hit featuring Pitbull that would also be a perfect fit to get the crowd bouncing.
Oddsmakers have this one at +450 and I like the chances.
Pick: On The Floor (+450)
First Song J-Lo Will Perform Odds During Super Bowl Halftime Show
Song | Odds |
---|---|
Let’s Get Loud | +300 |
On The Floor | +300 |
Live It Up | +500 |
Dinero | +600 |
El Anillo | +700 |
Get Right | +1000 |
Waiting For Tonight | +1000 |
If You Had My Love | +1200 |
Love Don’t Cost A Thing | +1200 |
Jenny From The Block | +2000 |
Let’s face it — there’s no shortage of hits Lopez can open with. While J-Lo will likely open the show before giving way to Shakira, even the odds suggest the former Fly Girl’s first song is going to be either “Let’s Get Loud” or “On The Floor.” Oddsmakers have both songs as +300 co-favorites followed by “Live It Up” at +500.

Sportsbooks are offering some real dark horse picks here, with “Dinero” (+600) and “El Anillo” (+700) also in the running. A longshot on the board is also “If You Had My Love” at +1200.
Take +300 on Lopez opening with “On the Floor.”
Pick: On The Floor (+300)
First Song Shakira Will Perform During Super Bowl Halftime Show Odds
Song | Odds |
---|---|
Whenever, Wherever | +250 |
Dare (La La La) | +300 |
La Tortura | +400 |
Can’t Remember To Forget You | +500 |
Waka Waka (This Time For Africa) | +600 |
Beautiful Liar | +1000 |
Loca | +1000 |
She Wolf | +1200 |
La Bicicleta | +1500 |
Si Te Vas | +2000 |
Much like J-Lo, Shakira’s career has spanned two decades and has featured such hits as “Whenever, Wherever”, “Hips Don’t Lie” and “Dare (La La La).”
Which one of Shakira’s hits will be the first to be performed in front of the Miami crowd at Hard Rock Stadium? Why not start things off with her biggest hit, “Whenever, Wherever” which comes in as the +250 favorite.

“Whenever, Wherever” was released in 2001 and was inspired by the artist’s Latin roots. It became a breakthrough hit and peaked at number six on the Billboard Top 100 that year.
Shakira may want to save her biggest hit as her last, too. That would leave Dare (La La La) at +300, but don’t sleep on “Waka Waka” which became one of the songs for the 2010 World Cup and is a +600 underdog here.
Pick: Waka Waka (+600)
Odds Last Song Performed During Super Bowl Halftime Show
Song | Odds |
---|---|
Live It Up | +200 |
Whenever, Wherever | +250 |
Can’t Remember To Forget You | +350 |
Let’s Get Loud | +500 |
On The Floor | +600 |
J-Lo has a wealth of hits that can close out the show. We haven’t even mentioned “Waiting For Tonight”, “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” or “Get Right” — all of which could be show-stopping closers.
Oddsmakers have “Live It Up” as the +200 favorite to wrap up the Super Bowl halftime show. While this is a strong option if Lopez is opening with “On The Floor”, what better way to end things than with “Let’s Get Loud”?
The reason this wager is so enticing is that sportsbooks actually have it as a +500 underdog. “Let’s Get Loud” is either an opener or closer and in this case, bet on it being the grand finale.
Pick: Let’s Get Loud (+500)
