Real Sociedad of San Sebastian lead La Liga Segunda Division club Mirandes 2-1 in the other semi-final with the second leg on Wednesday.
This raises the prospect of a final between Sociedad and Bilbao – both from the fiercely independent Basque region – in Seville on April 18.
