NFC East rivals clash on Thursday Night Football in Week 4, as the stumbling Dallas Cowboys visit the New York Giants.

Dallas is fresh off consecutive embarrassing performances, and will need to lean on stars Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb to avoid falling to 1-3.

New York, meanwhile, has found the Big Apple’s next phenom in Malik Nabers, and all three players are sure to draw plenty of attention in the NFL player props market.

You can argue each is in a position to succeed on TNF, but Prescott in particular has something to prove. The NFL’s highest-paid player headlines our favorite Cowboys vs Giants player props, as his TD passes price is too short to ignore.

The Cowboys vs Giants odds currently favor Dallas by 5.5 to 6.0 points while Big D is -275 on the moneyline to win straight-up. Despite being short road favorites, Dallas is still getting 88% of moneyline handle in the NFL public betting splits.

Cowboys vs Giants Prop #1: Dak Prescott TD Passes

Dallas has an implied team total 25.5 in the Week 4 NFL odds, and anyone who’s watched their rushing attack will tell you those points aren’t going to come on the ground. The Cowboys are the fourth-worst rush offense per Pro Football Focus, averaging just 3.6 yards per carry.

They’re going to continue to lean on Prescott to move the chains and generate points. Dak is averaging over 40 attempts per game, and is due for positive regression in the touchdown department.

Prescott currently boasts a career-low 3.3% TD rate. That’s down 2 percent from his lifetime average, and bettors shouldn’t be scared off by this matchup. Yes, the Giants looked competent in pass defense in recent weeks, but that was versus rookie Jayden Daniels and Deshaun Watson, who’s playing himself out of the league.

It was only three weeks ago that Sam Darnold lit the Giants up, and Prescott should do the same. The last time Dak faced the G-Men, he dropped 404 yards and 4 TD on them.

  • Cowboys vs Giants Prop Picks: Dak Prescott Over 1.5 TD Passes (-120); risk 1 unit at DraftKings

Cowboys vs Giants Prop #2: Rico Dowdle Rush Attempts

Not only is the Dallas backfield unproductive, it’s also crowded. No RB averages more than 3.8 yards per carry, and none of the three are deserving of substantial work.

Dowdle is the current workhorse, averaging 7.9 carries per game, but has shown little juice. He doesn’t have a single explosive run this season on 23 attempts, and has just two on 119 career carries.

Cowboys Running Back Rushing Stats

Player Carries YDS AVG
Rico Dowdle 23 88 3.8
Ezekiel Elliott 19 62 3.3
Deuce Vaughn 7 20 2.9

Until they prove otherwise, Dowdle, Zeke Elliott and Deuce Vaughn are all easy fades. We’ll target the under on Dowdle’s attempts at plus-money.

  • Cowboys vs Giants Prop Picks: Rico Dowdle Under 8.5 Rush Attempts (+115); risk 1 unit at DraftKings

Cowboys vs Giants Touchdown Scorer Props

Player Odds to Score 1st TD Odds to Score Any TD
Devin Singletary (NYG) +550 -120
CeeDee Lamb (DAL) +550 -120
Malik Nabers (NYG) +850 +125
Jake Ferguson (DAL) +950 +170
Ezekiel Elliott (DAL) +1000 +175
Rico Dowdle (DAL) +1000 +175
Brandin Cooks (DAL) +1200 +230
Daniel Jones (NYG) +1200 +235
Jalen Tolbert (DAL) +1400 +265
Dak Prescott (DAL) +1700 +320

Shifting to the touchdown props, we’ll pay a little bit of juice to bet Devin Singletary to score. The Giants lead RB has touchdowns in back-to-back contests, and now draws the best possible matchup.

Dallas’ run defense is the lowest graded unit per PFF. The Ravens just torched them for 274 rushing yards and three scores, after the Saints piled up 190 yards and 4 TD.

Singletary is not an elite back, but he has a stranglehold on Giants RB touches. He’s handled 42 out of a possible 53 running back carries, including eight of the nine red zone attempts.

  • Cowboys vs Giants Prop Picks: Devin Singletary Anytime TD (-120); risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook
