Philadelphia was a mash unit Tuesday night, with seven regulars out of the lineup, and there are major question marks as to who will suit up Wednesday. Joel Embiid (foot) missed his fifth straight game, and is listed as day-to-day.

The other parts of Philly’s “big three” are also questionable, with Paul George dealing with an ankle injury and Tyrese Maxey with a hand injury. Caleb Martin (groin) is also questionable. Already ruled out are Kenyon Martin Jr (foot), Andre Drummond (toe) and Kyle Lowry (hip).

New York is dealing with injuries to stars too, with Jalen Brunson (shoulder) listed as probable, and Karl-Anthony Towns (thumb) considered questionable.

Philadelphia was booed off its home court Tuesday night, though that was likely more intended for the players in street clothes than the replacement unit Nick Nurse had to field in a 118-102 bombing at the hands of the Thunder.

The Sixers’ offense can’t get anything going with a revolving door of players, scoring over 110 points just twice in the last eight, and averaging 107 points.

They’ll also be playing the second night of a back-to-back, where they have yet to win in four starts, averaging just 103 points per game, while surrendering 121.2 points per contest.

The Knicks are coming off their own back-to-back L, a 124-119 loss to the Pistons. They’ve alternated wins and losses in each of the last five.

They are a resilient bunch on the road: at 13-8, they have the second most road wins in the East this season, including a 111-99 thrashing of these same Sixers in Philly on November 12 — a game where all key 76ers but Maxey played.
