It took the full seven games but the heavily favored #1 OKC Thunder (76- 17, 50-7 home, 35-10 away, 57-33-4 ATS) finally saw off Denver in the West semifinals, setting up a Western Conference final against the #6 Minnesota Timberwolves (57-35, 29-17 home, 28-18 away, 46-45-1 ATS), who breezed through their first two opponents in just five games apiece.
While Minnesota will be the more-rested side, the opening Thunder vs Timberwolves series odds heavily favor OKC advancing to its first NBA finals since 2012.

OKC vs MIN Western Conference Final Schedule
*If necessary.
OKC will host Games 1 and 2 plus 5 and 7 if necessary. Minnesota will host Games 3 and 4, plus 6 if necessary.
The Wolves had more success than most teams against OKC in the regular season, going 2-2 in four contests, splitted a pair of home and road games. Minnesota’s 131-128 OT win at the Paycom Center on Feb. 24 – the most-recent meeting between the teams – was one of just six home setbacks for the Thunder in the regular season. They dropped one more (Game 1 against the Nuggets in the second round of the NBA playoff bracket) in the postseason.
OKC Thunder vs MIN Timberwolves Regular-Season Results
Minnesota cashed straight up twice as big moneyline underdogs. Betting one unit on Minnesota to win all four games would have resulted in a net profit of 6.3 units. Minnesota also covered three of the four meetings against the spread, and three of the four went over their totals, which ranged from 217 to 229.
Game 1 Timberwolves vs Thunder Odds
The Game 1 MIN/OKC odds favor the Thunder by a touchdown. On the moneyline, OKC is -290 to win straight-up. Minnesota has opened as a +235 underdog. The game total is just 213.0, which is four points lower than any of their regular-season game totals.
