The Grizzlies and Celtics tip off in Las Vegas at 4 pm ET on July 11 for the Summer League. The Grizzlies have three games under their belt after playing in the Salt Lake City Summer League last week, while the Celtics will be rolling out their Summer League roster for the first time in 2025.
Memphis has a young core of Jaylen Wells, Cam Spencer, and GG Jackson II, and the Celtics have just three returning players from last year’s Summer League team that went 2-3.

Grizzlies vs Celtics Odds
The Grizzlies are 4-point favorites over the Celtics in today’s Summer League game. With moneyline odds of -180, sportsbooks are giving Memphis an implied win probability of 64.29%.
The total in this game is set at O/U 185.5, the highest of all the Summer League games on Friday.

Grizzlies vs Celtics Pick #1: Grizzlies -4 (-110)
Memphis enters today after already playing three games in Salt Lake City. They won their first game 92-80 over the Thunder then their next two games by one point. Their core of GG Jackson, Jaylen Wells, and Cam Spencer played well in the first two games in Utah before sitting out the third game.

This team is young, but they are gaining experience and have played together before heading to Las Vegas. Memphis has to be thrilled with the performances of those three, but it is not just them. Rookie Jahmai Mashack averaged 11.5 points and had five total steals in his two games played in Utah.
Boston has been an NBA Title contender, so they do not have as much young talent. Baylor Scheierman highlights the three returning players from last year’s summer roster. Scheierman is a great shooter and has a chance to make the Celtics roster. He showed flashes last season of what he can do, so he will look to build on that in Las Vegas.
I believe the Grizzlies will be too much for the Celtics in this first game of the Summer League. Memphis is +1500 to win the NBA 2K26 Summer League, while Boston is a longshot at +5500. Bet on the young core of Memphis to cover the spread.
Grizzlies vs Celtics Pick #2: GG Jackson 20+ Points (-120)
GG Jackson scored 20 points and 27 points in his two games in Salt Lake City and should not slow down against the Celtics. The forward led the team in minutes in those two games and shot 37.5% from three.
Jackson got meaningful minutes in the NBA last season after a plethora of injuries and averaged 7.2 points per game. He shot 37.2% from the field and 33.7% from three. Now that he is playing a Summer League roster, those percentages should go up.
He is shooting the ball a lot, especially from three. He took eight three-point attempts in both of his games in Salt Lake City. If he hits a few of those and continues to lead the team in minutes, he should have no problem reaching 20 points again.
The O/U in this game is the highest out of all the NBA Summer League games today, so points are expected to be scored. Take Jackson to score at least 20 points on Friday.
Grizzlies vs Celtics Pick #3: Jaylen Wells 3+ Three Pointers Made (-138)
Like Jackson, Jaylen Wells shot the ball a lot in Salt Lake City, especially from behind the arc. Wells went 3-8 from three in his first game in Utah and followed that up by going 4-11 from behind the arc in his next game. Not only did he get at least three in both games, but with 8 attempts and 11 attempts, that tells me that he is going to keep shooting.
Wells averaged 10.4 points per game in the NBA last year and shot 35.2% from three. He is facing a Celtics team that allowed over 100 points in three Summer League games last season. This is essentially a new roster, but I still believe they will struggle defensively, and Wells will keep shooting. Bet on Wells to make at least three threes against Boston.
