College GameDay rolls into Eugene for the biggest game nobody predicted. The show sets up at Memorial Quad as No. 3 Oregon hosts No. 7 Indiana in a top-10 clash between undefeated teams.

This is GameDay’s 12th visit to Eugene. Oregon’s been featured 22 times. WNBA champion Sabrina Ionescu serves as guest picker in the college football odds.

Students started camping Thursday night. By Friday morning, 250 were already lined up near Memorial Quad. The weather forecast calls for typical Oregon October – mid-50s with possible showers.

Indiana’s 5-0 for the second straight year. Before 2024, they hadn’t done it since 1967. Oregon’s won 18 straight at home, the longest active streak in FBS. The Ducks haven’t lost at Autzen since November 2022.

The regular GameDay crew was the most aligned they’ve been all season in Week 7, picking the same team to win in seven different matchups. They would have been aligned on 8/10 games if McAffe hadn’t pulled out his homer card and chosen Indiana to beat Oregon.

Guest picker Sabrina Ionescu went against the grain in a few matchups, including picking Illinois vs Ohio State and USC vs Michigan. Given her Oregon roots, it’s not hard to see why she couldn’t pick the Buckeyes, despite their dominance.

Week 6 GameDay Results

PickerWeek 6
Desmond Howard6-3
Nick Saban5-4
Pat McAfee6-3
Kirk Herbstreit6-3
Theo Von (Guest)6-3

Week 6 delivered decent results for most of the GameDay crew. Four pickers – Howard, McAfee, Herbstreit, and guest Theo Von – all finished 6-3. Saban struggled at 5-4, missing on the Mississippi State spread and wrongly backing Navy over Air Force. Von and Howard were the only ones to correctly call Florida’s upset over Texas.

Indiana vs Oregon Odds & Analysis

Kickoff: 3:30 PM ET on CBS at Autzen Stadium

Bet TypeIndianaOregon
Spread+7.5 (-115)-7.5 (-105)
Moneyline+240-300
TotalO 55.5 (-105)U 55.5 (-115)

Indiana’s legit. Fernando Mendoza completes 73% of his passes with 16 touchdowns and one pick. He’s thrown five TDs with 90%+ completion in two different games. Only Alabama’s Bryce Young has done that since 2000.

Oregon’s Dante Moore matches him stat for stat. He’s at 74.6% with 14 TDs and one interception. The Ducks have won 23 straight regular-season games.

The matchup to watch: Indiana’s run defense (88 yards allowed) against Oregon’s ground game (239.4 yards). If the Hoosiers stuff the run, they can hang around. Oregon’s only been sacked once all year. Indiana has 16 sacks.

  • Pick: Indiana +7.5 (-115)

Other Week 7 Games

No. 1 Ohio State at Illinois

Line: Ohio State -14 | Total: 49.5 | Kickoff: Noon ET on FOX

Ohio State’s defense is absurd. Five points allowed per game. No rushing touchdowns allowed all season – 172 straight opponent carries.

Illinois is 5-1 ATS. Luke Altmyer hasn’t thrown a pick in 156 attempts. Julian Sayin completes 80.2% for the Buckeyes. He’s 5-0 to start his career. Illinois beat five ranked teams since last year. They’re 3-13 all-time against No. 1 teams, with two of those wins against Ohio State.

  • Pick: Illinois +14 (-107)

Red River Rivalry: Oklahoma vs Texas

Line: Texas -1.5 | Total: 43.5 | Kickoff: 3:30 PM ET on ABC

The line crashed from Texas -11.5 to -1.5. That’s 10 points. The total dropped from 56.5 to 43.5. Oklahoma allows 7.2 points per game. Texas gives up 11.6.

Arch Manning threw five picks this year. Oklahoma’s defense allows 118.4 passing yards per game. Texas has a +3 turnover margin. Oklahoma’s at -4. In a defensive slugfest, that matters.

  • Pick: Texas -1.5 (-105)

Alabama at Missouri

Line: Alabama -3 | Total: 51.5 | Kickoff: Noon ET on ABC

Sharp money moved this from Alabama -6.5 to -3. Missouri runs for 292 yards per game. Alabama allows 155.4 on the ground.

Ty Simpson has 17 TDs and one pick for Bama. Beau Pribula completes 75.9% for Missouri. The Tigers are 5-0 for the first time since 1959. Ahmad Hardy leads the nation with 18 rushing touchdowns.

  • Pick: Missouri +3 (-110)

Michigan at USC

Line: USC -2.5 | Total: 57.5 | Kickoff: 7:30 PM ET on NBC

The line flipped from Michigan -1.5 to USC -2.5. Four-point swing. USC scores 48.4 points per game. Michigan allows 16.2.

Jayden Maiava’s numbers: 72.1% completion, 11 TDs, one pick. Justice Haynes runs for 130 yards per game for Michigan. USC’s O-line has allowed four sacks all year. Michigan’s given up nine.

  • Pick: USC -2.5 (-112)

Georgia at Auburn

Line: Georgia -3.5 | Total: 45.5 | Kickoff: 7:30 PM ET on ABC

Georgia can’t cover. They’re 1-4 ATS. The line dropped from -7.5 to -3.5. Auburn’s defense has 16 sacks. Jackson Arnold’s been sacked 21 times.

Georgia allows 79.3% completion rate. That’s bad. Really bad. Auburn’s won 10 straight when winning the turnover battle. Jordan-Hare at night against a Georgia team that doesn’t cover? Take the points.

  • Pick: Auburn +3.5 (-110)
