Friday nights are for betting college football player props, and I’m serving up the best bets for Week 8. A fantastic slate sees Louisville battle No.2 Miami, No.25 Nebraska take on Minnesota, and Bill Belichick’s UNC fly cross-country to go head-to-head with California.

Dive headfirst into the college football player prop action with my best bets for Louisville vs Miami and more, below.

CJ Daniels Anytime Touchdown

CJ Daniels has burst onto the scene in Miami, catching five touchdowns already. The LSU transfer has been heavily involved in the Hurricanes passing attack, seeing at least six targets in every game and hauling in 4.6 receptions per contest. Daniels 6’2, 205-pound frame gives Carson Beck a large target in the red zone.

The value is on Daniels in this Friday night Louisville vs Miami showdown. The Cardinal will have to contend with the likes of running back Mark Fletcher and fellow receiver Malachi Toney, opening up space for Daniels to go to work. Making the former Liberty receiver a +125 anytime touchdown bargain.

  • Friday CFB Player Prop Pick: CJ Daniels Anytime Touchdown (+125)

Dylan Raiola Passing Yards

I like Dylan Raiola’s golden arm to guide us to another win on Friday night. The spectacular sophomore has hit his passing yardage mark of 245.5 in three of his five starts, while smacking 364 vs Akron, 308 against Michigan and 260 against a tough Maryland defense last week.

On the flip side, the Minnesota defense has been ripped apart lately, allowing three of their last four opponents to hit this mark. The Golden Gophers gave up over 250 passing yards to Rutgers, and 326 yards to freshman Julian Saying of Ohio State as well as 279 yards to Cal’s Jaron Keawe-Sagapolutele.

Minnesota ranks outside of the top-60 in defensive success rate against the pass, so Raiola will have plenty of room to air it out. Plus, No.15 has thrown an average of 31 passing attempts per game against FBS teams this season, so expect at least that type of volume in what should be a competitive Big 10 contest.

  • Friday CFB Player Prop Pick: Dylan Raiola over 245.5 passing yards (-114)
