  • Friday night college football features two games worth betting on
  • Louisville’s Isaac Brown is out, which changes everything for the Cardinals’ offense
  • Check out these 4 Friday CFB bets for November 14 action

The Friday college football schedule gives us two games to attack. The prime-time ACC clash features Clemson (4-5, 3-4 ACC) traveling to Louisville (7-2, 4-2 ACC) as rare road underdogs, while late-night action shifts to Eugene, where #8 Oregon (8-1, 5-1 Big Ten) hosts Minnesota (6-3, 4-2 Big Ten).

Both lines have moved significantly over the past week. Louisville opened as home dogs but took enough sharp money to flip to 2.5-point favorites. Oregon’s spread climbed from 22.5 to 25.5, and I still think there’s value at the current number.

Let’s break down my four Friday night college football picks for Week 12.

Friday CFB Pick #1: Clemson/Louisville Under 51.5

The total opened at 60.5 and has dropped all the way to 51.5, but I still like the under here. Louisville’s offense looks completely different without Isaac Brown, who was averaging 8.76 yards per carry on 51 attempts this season.

Without him last week, the Cardinals managed just 26 points in an upset loss to Cal. They ran for only 148 yards after putting up 235 and 319 on the ground in the previous two games. Miller Moss struggled too, completing just 52.6% of his passes for 203 yards.

On the other side, Clemson’s offense hasn’t shown much either. They scored just 24 points against a Florida State team that can’t stop anyone. Cade Klubnik has thrown for less than 225 yards in three of his last four games, and the Tigers rank 89th in third-down conversions at 36.4%.

Both defenses should control this game. Louisville allows 21.7 points per game while Clemson has recorded 25 sacks. With both offenses struggling and the defenses featuring elite playmakers, I’m taking the under.

Friday College Football Pick #2: Oregon -25.5

This is a big number, but Oregon should roll at home. The Ducks average 38.7 points and 471.6 total yards, both top-10 marks nationally. Their defense has been just as good, allowing only 13.8 points per game.

Minnesota’s offense can’t keep up. They’re averaging just 23.8 points (78th) and 313.1 total yards (112th). The rushing attack manages only 109.8 yards per game, and that’s going to be a problem against this Oregon defense.

Drake Lindsey has been terrible on the road for Minnesota. The freshman QB has a 92.5 passer rating away from home with just 1 TD to 4 INTs. He completes 58.1% of his passes and averages 4.74 yards per attempt in road games.

The Gophers are 0-3 on the road this season, losing 41-3 at Iowa and 42-3 at Ohio State. Oregon hasn’t lost to an unranked opponent in 38 straight games, and they need a big win for their CFP playoff resume. They’ll get it Friday night.

Friday CFB Pick #3: Keyjuan Brown Anytime TD

With Isaac Brown out, Keyjuan Brown becomes Louisville’s main back. He ran for 136 yards on just 14 carries against Cal, and over his last three games, he’s gained 325 yards on 36 attempts.

Louisville converts 89.3% of red zone chances, ranking 18th nationally. They’ll lean on the run game near the goal line, especially with Clemson’s pass rush creating problems for Miller Moss. Brown opened at -180 to score but has drifted to -139, which gives us better value.

This prop works perfectly with our under bet. Louisville will score their points through the ground game, not explosive passing plays. Brown should find the end zone at least once.

Friday College Football Pick #4: Drake Lindsey Under 133.5 Passing Yards

Lindsey stayed well under this number in his two toughest road starts, and there’s no reason to think that changes against Oregon. He averages just 92.5 passing yards per game away from Minneapolis.

Look at what happened in Minnesota’s other road games against good teams. They managed just 109 passing yards at Iowa in a 41-3 loss. Against Ohio State, Lindsey threw for 94 yards in a 42-3 defeat. Oregon’s defense is just as good as those teams.

The game script works against Minnesota, too. The Gophers will try to control the clock with their running game and keep Oregon’s offense off the field. That likely won’t work, but it limits Lindsey’s passing attempts. Against teams with positive turnover margins like Oregon (+5), Lindsey hasn’t reached 120 passing yards. Take the under.
