Buccaneers vs Rams Prop Pick #1: Matthew Stafford Over 2.5 Passing Touchdowns

For my first prop I’m going with Matthew Stafford to continue to make his case that he should win the NFL MVP odds race. For the campaign, the Rams gunslinger has thrown for 27 TD passes, six more than his next closest pursuers (Dak Prescott and Jared Goff).

Stafford has tossed for at least three touchdowns in five of his last seven outings, and he’s up against a Bucs passing D that surrendered three passing strikes to Josh Allen last week. In his career, Stafford has thrown for at least three TD’s versus Tampa Bay in four of seven battles.

TB vs LAR Player Prop #2: Chris Godwin Over 25.5 Receiving Yards

For my next prop, I’m going with a Bucs veteran wide receiver to put up a modest output, but one that he could take care of with one reception. Chris Godwin returns from a fibula injury to play in just his third contest of the campaign. In the two prior skirmishes, he put up 26 yards both times, something he’s done in 16 straight outings.

In his career, Godwin has loved playing the Rams, racking up at least 26 yards in all four battles with an average of 83.8 yards. Considering he’s on a ‘pitch count’ tonight with his return from injury, I don’t expect him to have a monster game, but 26+ yards is quite attainable. LA has allowed 222.3 passing yards per duel, which ranks them 21st in the NFL.

Moving over to the Buccaneers vs Rams touchdown scorer props, Davante Adams has the shortest odds to record a TD at -155. The player most likely to find the end zone for the Bucs is Emeka Egbuka at +170.

Buccaneers vs Rams Prop Pick #3: Davante Adams Anytime TD

For an anytime touchdown scorer, if I’m selecting Rams QB Matthew Stafford to have three or more passing TD’s, it stands to reason I should pair him up with one of his huge weapons. Enter Davante Adams, who has hauled in ten touchdowns to lead all NFL pass catchers.

Adams has been on an absolute heater, finding paydirt a whopping seven times in the last four contests. I’d rather pick him over Puka Nacua, even though the latter has slightly better value on his odds, simply because he’s had a better output with touchdowns on the season.
