College GameDay rolls back into Eugene for the second time this season as the Ducks host one of Week 13’s biggest matchups. The show sets up at the University of Oregon as the No. 7 Ducks welcome No. 15 USC in a game with serious playoff consequences.
Oregon legend Marcus Mariota joins the crew as celebrity guest picker. The 2014 Heisman Trophy winner and Washington Commanders quarterback is taking advantage of his team’s bye week to return to his old stomping grounds. The timing works out perfectly since Mariota will be inducted into the Oregon Ducks Hall of Fame on the same day.
College GameDay Details
The pit opens at 6:30 AM ET for fans who want to grab prime spots. This is GameDay’s second trip to Eugene this season, showing just how big this matchup is for the playoff race.
Oregon sits at 9-1 with their only loss coming to Indiana earlier this year. The Ducks control their destiny, but they need to beat USC and then Washington to close out the regular season. USC comes in at 8-2 and red-hot, winning four of their last five with ranked wins over Michigan and Iowa during that stretch.

Week 12 College GameDay Results
Week 12 saw the GameDay crew stay hot after a solid Week 11. Guest picker Aaron Donald went 6-3, pretty solid for the Pitt legend making his return. Kirk Herbstreit led the way at 6-2, improving on his 5-3 showing last week.
The crew was aligned entirely on calling Georgia crushing Texas, while Pat McAfee and Kirk Herbstreit both called Oklahoma’s stunning upset of Alabama (something Nick Saban could never do, obviously). The crew was also 4/5 aligned on Cincinnati taking down BYU.
The misses came when they backed teams that simply couldn’t get it done. Desmond Howard, Saban and McAfee all whiffed on picking Duke to beat Virginia. Meanwhile, Herbstreit and Donald predicted Pittsburgh to surprise Notre Dame, but the Irish crushed Donald’s dreams and won convincingly.
USC vs Oregon Odds & Analysis
Kickoff: 3:30 PM ET on CBS at Autzen Stadium
The weather forecast calls for clear conditions. The Trojans rank second nationally in EPA per play and average 38.2 points per game. Quarterback Jayden Maiava has been leaning on receivers Makai Lemon (third in the FBS in receiving yards) and Duce Robinson.
Oregon’s dealing with some injury concerns. Star freshman receiver Dakorien Moore has missed the last two games with a knee injury. The Ducks still have firepower with running backs Jordon Davison and Noah Whittington, plus tight end Kenyon Sadiq. Oregon’s won the last three meetings between these old Pac-12 rivals, and USC hasn’t won in Eugene since 2011.
- Pick: ORE -10.5 (-102)
Other Week 13 Featured Games
Tennessee at Florida
Line: Tennessee -3.5 | Total: 57.5 | Kickoff: 7:30 PM ET on ABC
The Volunteers head to Gainesville looking to snap a brutal 10-game losing streak at The Swamp. Tennessee hasn’t won in Gainesville since 2003. The Vols (7-3) split their last four games and have basically fallen out of playoff contention.
Florida sits at 3-7 with their season over since they’re already eliminated from bowl eligibility. The Gators have allowed 470 rushing yards over the last two weeks. This is the first home game since Billy Napier’s departure. Florida’s offense has been abysmal since losing quarterback Steve Angeli to a torn Achilles, averaging just 11.7 points per game during their six-game losing streak.
- Pick: Tennessee -3.5 (-110)
Arkansas at No. 17 Texas
Line: Texas -8.5 | Total: 57.5 | Kickoff: 3:30 PM ET on ABC
Arkansas is 0-6 in SEC play despite a scoring margin of just -25 points. All six SEC losses came by an average of 4.2 points. The Razorbacks have perfected the art of the one-score loss with six this year.
Texas is coming off a 35-10 beatdown by Georgia that damaged their playoff hopes. The Longhorns need wins over Arkansas and Texas A&M to have any shot at making the CFP. They’ve gone to overtime with Kentucky and Mississippi State this season, so don’t expect them to blow out a scrappy Arkansas team.
- Pick: Arkansas +8.5 (-110)
No. 22 Missouri at No. 8 Oklahoma
Line: Oklahoma -5.5 | Total: 42.5 | Kickoff: Noon ET on ESPN
Oklahoma is riding high after their 23-21 upset of Alabama. The Sooners generated 17 points off three turnovers and held Bama to 57 yards on their final four drives. Their defense is legit since they rank among the best in sack generation and haven’t allowed more than 150 rushing yards in any game.
Missouri needs a signature win badly. The Tigers are 7-3 but haven’t beaten a likely bowl-bound opponent yet. Running back Ahmad Hardy exploded for 300 yards and three touchdowns against Mississippi State last week, but Oklahoma’s elite run defense will be a completely different challenge.
- Pick: Missouri +5.5 (-110)
Pittsburgh at No. 16 Georgia Tech
Line: Georgia Tech -2.5 | Total: 60.5 | Kickoff: 7:00 PM ET on ESPN
The Panthers head to Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta for a pivotal ACC Championship race clash. Georgia Tech is 9-1 (6-1 ACC) and ranked No. 16 in the CFP rankings. The Yellow Jackets were cruising until their run defense fell apart with 600 rushing yards allowed over the last three games at 6.1 yards per carry.
Pittsburgh checks in at 7-3 (5-1 ACC) following a 37-15 beatdown by Notre Dame. The Panthers didn’t show much fight in that one. Georgia Tech quarterback Haynes King leads a Top 10 rushing offense nationally. If Pitt wins, they move into the driver’s seat for Charlotte.
- Pick: Georgia Tech -2.5 (-110)
No. 12 BYU at Cincinnati
Line: BYU -2.5 | Total: 55.5 | Kickoff: 8:00 PM ET on Fox
Two weeks ago, this looked like one of the biggest games in the country. Then Cincinnati lost back-to-back games to fall to 7-3 and drop out of the Big 12 title race. BYU is 9-1 and ranked No. 12 in the CFP rankings. The Cougars got destroyed at home by Texas Tech last week but still control their path to the Big 12 championship game.
Cincinnati quarterback Brendan Sorsby has been inconsistent, averaging less than 150 yards in the Bearcats’ three losses. The bigger issue is turnovers since Cincy has coughed it up five times in their last two games. BYU ranks 12th nationally in turnover margin and has been opportunistic all year.
- Pick: BYU -2.5 (-118)
Nebraska at Penn State
Line: Penn State -7.5 | Total: 45.5 | Kickoff: 7:00 PM ET on NBC
Both teams are playing for bowl eligibility and pride. Penn State is a shocking 4-6 after starting the season ranked in the top two. The Nittany Lions snapped a six-game losing streak last week with a 28-10 win over Michigan State.
Nebraska comes in at 7-3 following a bye week. The Huskers destroyed UCLA 28-21 in their last game behind quarterback TJ Lateef, who filled in beautifully for injured starter Dylan Raiola. Running back Emmett Johnson leads the Big Ten in rushing yards with 1,131.
- Pick: Nebraska +7.5 (-110)
Notre Dame vs Syracuse
Line: Notre Dame -36.5 | Total: 50.5 | Kickoff: 3:30 PM ET on NBC
The Fighting Irish host the Orange for their final home game of the regular season. Notre Dame is a massive 35.5-point favorite. The Irish sit at 8-2 (No. 9 CFP) and need style points to climb into the top eight and potentially host a playoff game.
Syracuse is 3-7 and reeling. The Orange lost quarterback Steve Angeli (a Notre Dame transfer) to a torn Achilles earlier in the year. Since then, Syracuse has averaged 11.7 points per game and lost six straight. This is about as lopsided as it gets.
- Pick: Notre Dame -36.5 (-110)
Line Shopping Guide
Week 13 doesn’t have the marquee matchups of rivalry week, but there’s plenty of intrigue. Oregon-USC decides playoff positioning in the Big Ten. The ACC race gets sorted out with Pitt-Georgia Tech. Oklahoma and BYU are fighting to keep their playoff dreams alive. And teams like Tennessee, Penn State, and Kansas State are just trying to salvage their seasons.
