It’s a heavyweight tilt in college football’s fiercest conference, as the #3 Georgia Bulldogs (11-1, 7-1 SEC), battle the #9 Alabama Crimson Tide (10-2, 7-1 SEC) in the SEC Championship.

Both teams have already done enough work to get into the College Football Playoff, so this will be just a tune-up between powerhouses, with the Bulldogs pegged as slight favorites in the college football odds. It’s a chance for us to delve into the player props market, with plenty of options to choose from.

I’m targeting skill players from both teams: Georgia running back Nate Frazier’s rushing total, and ‘Bama WR Isaiah Horton finding the endzone.

Read below for my best player prop bets and parlay picks for SEC Title Game.

Germie Bernard leads all pass catchers with a receiving yards line of 63.5, but Horton, who led the Crimson Tide in TD grabs this year, has longer odds to catch a TD, at +185 to Bernard’s +115.

Georgia vs Alabama Player Props Bet #1: Nate Frazier Rush Yards

Frazier ranked eighth in rushing in the conference, and his 5.6 yards per carry average is tied for eighth best, but he might be the most important piece for the Bulldogs Saturday.

He’s coming off a solid 16-carry, 108-yard rushing performance in the regular season finale against 23rd-ranked Georgia Tech.

Frazier shows up in big games: Georgia played five ranked teams on the season, and in four of them, he rushed for at least 72 yards in each, cruising past his 63.5 rush line for this game.

The only team he failed to crack that number against? That would be Alabama, who, despite owning the eighth-ranked rush defense in the SEC (124.3 yards per game), limited Frazier to 30 yards rushing.

However, that’s a little misleading, as the sophomore back was limited to just a season-low four carries. Given 12 or more carries in a game, Frazier would have topped this total six times in eight chances.

Look for him to be a force in the rematch.

Georgia vs Alabama Player Props Bet #2: Isaiah Horton Anytime TD

If there’s a soft underbelly of Georgia’s defense, it’s against the pass.

The Bulldogs ranked second against the run in the SEC, allowing just 86.1 yards per game — good for sixth in the nation — but they were far less potent through the air

The Bulldogs allowed 204.8 yards per game, which was seventh in the conference, allowing 11 passing TD’s against.

Isaiah Horton has already proven he can work the Georgia secondary. He hauled in five catches for 65 yards and a TD in their 24-21 win earlier this season.

He finished the year off in style, hauling in three TD passes against Auburn, giving him eight on the year. Horton should be a key target and has really nice odds to catch another touchdown.

Ty Simpson Over 250.5 passing yards-114
TOTAL GEORGIA vs ALABAMA PARLAY ODDS+674

Let’s finish this off with my Georgia vs Alabama parlay, where we’re adding ‘Bama QB Ty Simpson’s passing yards total to bring the 3-legged SGP to a nice +674 number.

Simpson’s passing yardage numbers took a hit the last couple of weeks, failing to crack 150 yards in wins over Eastern Illinois and Auburn.

That Auburn game was an absolute dogfight, and an inspired Auburn defense nearly knocked Simpson and the ‘Tide out of the SEC title game.

That’s brought the total down to a reasonable 250.5 yards, a gettable number considering Georgia isn’t gangbusters against the pass, and that Simpson has already ripped Georgia.

In their 24-21win in September, he went 24-for-38 for 276 yards and two scores. In five games against ranked teams, Simpson has shown up, throwing for better than 251 yards in four of them.

They’re far from a National Championship odds favorite, sitting just eighth to Georgia’s 3rd-best odds. But Simpson can excel against this defense on the big stage.
