One of the most fun Super Bowl prop wagers is betting on the color of Gatorade to be dumped on the winning coach. Gatorade Color History at the Super Bowl

Yellow was the choice last year, yet it’s not the favorite to go back-to-back in SB LX. It was chosen for the first time since Super Bowl 52, so I’m not rushing to the books to select a color that is rarely picked.

If you’re inclined to think the Patriots will emerge victorious, they’ve gone with blue in two of their last three Super Bowl titles. When the Seahawks smashed the Broncos in SB XLVIII, they went with orange, which is the slight betting favorite in this one.

All-time, orange is the lucky winner with five, one ahead of blue, purple, yellow, clear/water or none.

In terms of longshots, the clear color of Gatorade (+1300) hasn’t been the winning bet since way back in Super Bowl 42 in 2008 when the Giants dumped it on Tom Coughlin.

Red/pink is the second longest shot on the board at +1100, but that surprisingly hasn’t been picked ever, so you’d have to ascertain it’s a strong possibility that trend will continue.

Blue (4) has been the most popular the last eleven years over orange (2), purple (2) and yellow (2), with no color occurring once.

Super Bowl 60 Gatorade Color Prediction

There essentially is no way to accurately be able to pick which color the Gatorade bath will be, save from having knowledge from someone in the know.

I’m going to select the color scheme that is featured on both of the teams competing, which is blue. The Pats have done it twice in their last three championships, plus Seattle might stick to their jersey color as well. Given that it’s not the top choice of orange (+220), there’s a slight bit more value in going with blue in this case.
