The total is the play Saturday night in Vegas, where the Golden Knights (30-22-14) host the Blackhawks (25-29-11) at T-Mobile Arena. Four of the last five meetings between these two have gone over, and I’m betting on a fifth with two leaky goaltenders confirmed for this one.

Chicago has won two straight, while Vegas is coming off a 6-2 rout of Pittsburgh. The latest NHL odds have the Knights as heavy home favorites, but my best value tonight is on the total and a pair of Blackhawks player props.

Adin Hill is the main reason I’m taking the over for my Blackhawks vs Golden Knights prediction. The 29-year-old missed nearly three months with a lower-body injury and hasn’t looked right since returning in mid-January. Only two of his 13 starts since coming back have produced a save percentage above .900, and he’s sitting at .863 on the year.

Hill allowed five goals on 22 shots against Pittsburgh on March 1 and seven on 32 shots in Ottawa on Jan. 25. He bounced back with a .923 outing against the Penguins on Wednesday, but that’s been the exception, not the rule.

Spencer Knight has a .909 save percentage on the season for Chicago and has been the workhorse with 43 appearances. He’s allowed at least two goals in each of his last 10 starts.

The head-to-head history backs the over too. Four of the last five meetings have gone over the total, and three of the last four produced at least seven combined goals. Vegas scored seven against Chicago back in February 2025, and the Blackhawks potted five of their own that night.

Vegas ranks 30th in team save percentage (.875) and 30th in opponent shooting percentage (12.46%). They score enough to win most nights, but they give up goals doing it. The under has hit in four straight Blackhawks road games, but I think Vegas’s firepower and Hill’s leaky numbers are enough to push this one over.

Vegas’s -230 moneyline carries roughly a 70% implied probability. Chicago’s +188 gives the Blackhawks about a 35% implied chance. The Knights are 24-11 as favorites this year.

I’m starting my Blackhawks vs Golden Knights props with a young forward riding a five-game point streak.

Frank Nazar has points in five straight games, piling up three goals and five assists during that stretch. Eight of those points came in his last four alone, including a goal and a power-play assist against Utah on Wednesday.

The sophomore’s role has grown big time this season. He’s Chicago’s second-line center and a fixture on the top power play unit, averaging 3:00 of PP time per game. That’s more than double his 1:20 average from last year, and his overall ice time has jumped to 18:28 from 15:52 as a rookie.

Nazar has 32 points in 49 games this season, with nine on the man advantage. At -105 for a single point, I like the price given his current streak and increased role.
