March Madness Champion Odds After Selection Sunday

The #1 Duke Blue Devils secured the top overall seed in the 2026 March Madness bracket and, at most sportsbooks/prediction markets, also have the shortest price to win the national championship.
Prediction site Kalshi has updated its national championship market post Selection Sunday. The table graphic below lists the top-ten favorites. Under the table, find the latest “Yes” prices for every team on the board. (Note that most #15 and #16 seeds are not listed at this time.)

NCAA Tournament Winner Prices (All Teams)
Duke is currently priced at 21¢ to win, which is equal to a +376 moneyline. Michigan is just behind at 19¢ (equal to a +426 moneyline), followed by Arizona at 17¢ and defending-champion Florida at 13¢. Those four teams are the four #1 seeds, and each one is a heavy favorite to win its region in the opening Final Four odds.
If you’re not familiar with prediction markets, when you buy a contract at 21¢, you stand to profit 79¢ on that contract if the relevant teams wins. If you buy a contract at 19¢, you profit 81¢ if your prediction comes to fruition (and so on and so forth). Successful contracts always return a dollar, so your profit is $1 minus the purchase price.
Generally, the prices on the favorites at Kalshi are far better than what bettors can find at traditional sportsbooks. Duke is +300 at DraftKings and +333 at BetMGM, for instance, while Michigan is +360 and +325, respectively.
However, because you can’t buy a contract for less than 1¢, bettors can generally get far better prices on longshots at traditional sportsbooks. A 1¢ prediction contract is the equivalent of +9900 odds. A massive 51 teams are listed at +10000 or longer at DraftKings after Selection Sunday. The graphic below lists shows the best-available odds for all NCAA Tournament teams at online sportsbooks. (Ignore the +1100 price for Duke, which is a technical error of some sort).
