The Philadelphia 76ers (37-31, 17-15 away) roll into the Mile High City on Tuesday night, where they’ll go toe-to-toe with the NBA’s top scoring offense in the Denver Nuggets (41-27, 18-13 home).
The Sixers are banged up, part of the reason they are massive 16-point road underdogs in the NBA odds, but for our purposes, we just need to find the best NBA player props in this cross-conference battle.
Nuggets vs 76ers Player-Prop Odds
Denver’s biggest team strength is its offensive efficiency and ball movement. They pour in a league-best 120.7 points per game while shooting a blistering 49.2% from the floor, logging 28.2 assists per game. The 76ers offer a contrasting style: while they lacks a hyper-efficient shooting offense, they relentlessly attack the paint, earning 25.4 free throw attempts per game.

Nikola Jokic’s numbers immediately jump off the page, with the books opening his scoring total at a solid 29.5 points, and the NBA public betting hitting the Under on that prop at -130. The books are bullish on Jokic splashing from downtown, as his made threes total (1.5) comes with heavily juiced odds of -158.
For the Sixers, VJ Edgecombe is one of Philly’s healthy, live bodies (more on that below), and he should be prominent from 3-point range.
Nuggets vs 76ers Player-Prop Picks
Based on my deep dive into the recent performance data, rotational constraints, and stylistic vulnerabilities, here are my two sharpest player prop predictions for tonight’s slate.
Pick 1: Nikola Jokic OVER 13.5 Rebounds (+104 at DraftKings)
Getting plus-money on the reigning MVP to clean the glass against a severely depleted frontcourt is the premier edge on the board tonight. Joel Embiid and Johni Broome are both out, leaving Philadelphia’s interior highly compromised. The 76ers are bleeding second-chance opportunities, and Jokic is uniquely positioned to feast on these extra chances.
Even with a full lineup, it’s always going to be a challenge to contain the 3-time MVP, and a consistent figure in the NBA MVP odds In his last five games, Jokic is pulling down 14 rebounds per game. He’s also a monster stat-stuffer at home, as Jokic has gone over his double-double mark in 20 of 24 home games this season.
Pick 2: Quentin Grimes OVER 20.5 Points (-110 at bet365)
To be fair, not a lot of teams would be able to function without their top player (Tyrese Maxey) and best big (Embiid), with plenty of other role players like Kelly Oubre and Paul George sidelined.
The offense has to come from somewhere, and Quentin Grimes has been in this position before, and thrived.
Over his last five games, Grimes has transformed into the primary weapon, with his usage rate leaping to 26.8%, pouring in 22.6 points per game while hoisting 17.4 field goal attempts per night. He’s not settling either, as evidened by his 7.4 trips to the stripe.
DEN vs PHI Injury Report
As mentioned, Joel Embiid (oblique), Tyrese Maxey (finger), Kelly Oubre Jr (elbow) and Johni Broome (knee) are all on the shelf for Tuesday, while Paul George is still sidelined as he serves his 25-game suspension.
Denver is getting healthy and scary down the home stretch. Wing Peyton Watson (hamsring) remains sidelined, but they’ve recently got back Christian Braun to help out at the wing spot, and to make shots out of the superstar-driven production of Jokic and Murray.
