The 2026 Frozen Four national championship is set. Denver and Wisconsin will meet Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with a national title on the line.
DraftKings released opening Wisconsin vs Denver odds right after the Pioneers outlasted Michigan in a double-overtime classic. Denver opened as a clear favorite, with the Badgers sitting on the underdog side of the moneyline.
Wisconsin vs Denver Frozen Four Final Odds
Denver’s -175 price translates to roughly a 64% implied probability, while Wisconsin’s +135 gives the Badgers about a 43% implied chance. The total opened at 5.5 goals with the under juiced to -125, telling you the books expect another tight, low-event final.

How Denver Reached the Final
Denver punched its ticket in dramatic fashion. Senior defenseman Kent Anderson scored 12:35 into the second overtime to beat Michigan 4-3, ending one of the longest Frozen Four games in history at 92 minutes and 35 seconds of game time.
Freshman netminder Johnny Hicks was once again the story. He stopped 49 of 52 shots from the nation’s top offense and is now a perfect 15-0-1 in his college career. Clarke Caswell tied the game with 2:46 left in regulation to force OT after Jayden Perron had given Michigan a 3-2 lead on the power play.
The Pioneers have now won 16 in a row and haven’t lost since January 23. They’re chasing a record 11th national title and a third championship in five years under David Carle.
How Wisconsin Reached the Final
Wisconsin’s Cinderella run rolls on. The Badgers knocked off No. 2 overall seed North Dakota 2-1 in the early semifinal, scoring twice in 27 seconds in the first period and then surviving a late Fighting Hawks push.
Simon Tassy and Ryan Botterill provided the goals, while Daniel Hauser stopped 21 of 22 shots, and the Badgers killed all five North Dakota power plays, including a 1:57 5-on-3. North Dakota’s only goal came on a 6-on-5 with 51 seconds left.
It’s Wisconsin’s first national championship game since 2010, when the Badgers fell to Boston College. They’re chasing their seventh title and first since 2006.
Wisconsin vs Denver Line Movement Projection
I expect this Wisconsin vs Denver line to move toward the Badgers as Saturday approaches. The double-OT fatigue factor is real for Denver, who played an extra 32+ minutes of hockey Thursday night while Wisconsin wrapped up its semifinal in regulation hours earlier.
Public money will likely pile in on Denver given the Hicks story and the Pioneers’ 16-game unbeaten run, but sharps tend to fade tired teams in quick turnaround spots. Don’t be surprised if the line drifts toward Denver -150 or even -140 by puck drop.
The total at 5.5 also feels like it could move. Both Hicks and Daniel Hauser are playing elite hockey right now, and Frozen Four finals historically trend low-scoring. I’d expect some action on the under to push that price toward -135 or -140.
Puck drop for the 2026 Frozen Four national championship game is set for 5:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 11 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, with the broadcast on ESPN.
