Wednesday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers welcome the Toronto Raptors to town for their first round Game 5 matchup. The home squad has held court in all four contests in the series, and the NBA odds believe the Cavs will come out on top tonight. Tip-off is slated for 07:30 PM ET / 4:30 PM PT, broadcast nationally on ESPN in the United States and Sportsnet in Canada.
Below, I will lay out all the player props for the critical matchup in Game 5, and offer up a pair of player props wagers that I’m most confident in. As for the NBA Championship odds, Cleveland has the fourth shortest odds to win it all at +2000, while Toronto are massive +75000 longshots.

The Raptors boast a highly vulnerable defense on the road. Harden established a 2.9 triples-per-game baseline at home during the regular season, proving his comfort at Rocket Arena. In the last 13 games on home court, Harden has nailed three shots from downtown on ten occasions.
In this playoff series, he is knocking down shots from three point land, making 3+ on three of four battles, including both at home.
Toronto allowed Cleveland to shoot a disastrous 40.3% from beyond the arc in the first two battles in Ohio. Last outing, the Cavs were absolutely horrible shooting (10-of-40 on three pointers), but Toronto was even worse, going 4-for-30. I expect there to be a bounce back in friendly confines, and Harden can knock down at least a trio of three-pointers.
Scottie Barnes OVER 19.5 Points (+100 at Fanatics)
This is a glaring pricing inefficiency. Oddsmakers are anchoring Barnes’ prop to his 18.1 regular-season average. However, the playoffs has awoken something in Barnes, who has been very efficient.
With Immanuel Quickley out, Barnes operates as the primary offensive engine. He is averaging an elite 25.8 points across four playoff tilts in this series, shooting a highly efficient 52.3% from the field. That includes 20+ points in all four affairs, becoming the first Raptor to do that in the postseason since Kawhi Leonard in 2019.
Barnes averages 23.5 points in the two duels in Cleveland, easily clearing his 19.5 points line. Furthermore, he boasts a monstrous 27.3% usage rate, accounting for 23.6% of Toronto’s total points while on the floor. I love getting him at plus money for this prop, since the payout is much more appealing.

TOR vs CLE Key Injuries
Cavs’ Head coach Kenny Atkinson has his full rotation available, providing massive stability for bettors projecting minute distributions and usage rates among their stars.
Toronto is dealing with a tough blow. Point guard Immanuel Quickley has been ruled out with a hamstring injury and will miss the remainder of this series, having not suited up once vs Cleveland.
