The Denver Nuggets clash with the Minnesota Timberwolves as they yet again fight to avoid being eliminated Thursday night. Tip-off for game 6 is scheduled for 6:30 PM PT / 9:30 PM ET on ESPN in the United States and TSN in Canada. Denver won Game 5 125-113 to keep this series going, and now they’ll have to do so again on the road. The NBA odds have Denver forcing a 7th and deciding game.
In this pivotal Western Conference affair, the home team leans on Julius Randle and X-factor Ayo Dosunmu. Meanwhile, the visiting Nuggets rely on the strong duo of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. Keep reading for the best player props picks to make for this intense showdown, along with major injury updates.

The Timberwolves generate a massive 55.6 points in the paint per game. With Anthony Edwards out (knee), Ayo Dosunmu has emphatically stepped into the primary scoring role. Looking at his splits, he averaged 14.6 points at home during the regular season. However, his playoff production has skyrocketed as he gets up and down the court and is a focus in my NBA Player Props.
In two home playoff games, Dosunmu is averaging an astronomical 34.0 points per contest with totals of 43 and 25. He boasts an elite 71.9% shooting success rate in Minny, both of which were Wolves victories. He is also converting from downtown at a blistering 62.5% clip at home.
Jamal Murray Under 3.5 Made Threes (-169 at DraftKings)
The Nuggets are absolute masters at drawing fouls, but outside shooting is their glaring Achilles heel. They are shooting a dismal 30.1% from three-point range in this series. Murray is a prime fade candidate in a slow halfcourt offense against a stifling perimeter defense. I do not expect him to hit three pointers in droves.
In the postseason, Murray has made four or more three pointers just once in five attempts. The Timberwolves have only allowed the Nugges a 30.1% success rate from deep this postseason. In 19 of the last 25 battles vs the Wolves, Murray has not reached the four three pointers threshold.

DEN vs MIN Key Injuries
Both squads are dealing with major injury concerns ahead of Thursday’s tip-off.
The Timberwolves got hit hard especially. Anthony Edwards is out for multiple weeks with a hyperextended left knee suffered in Game 4. To make matters worse, Donte DiVincenzo suffered a season-ending Achilles tear that same game. Bones Hyland is also questionable with a knee issue.
The Nuggets enter relatively healthy, but Aaron Gordon is questionable with a calf strain. Peyton Watson remains out week-to-week with a hamstring injury.
