Chaos reigned on Thursday at Roland Garros. After the match, Sinner claimed he was battling an illness. Either way, the French Open odds underwent cataclysmic shifts.

Zverev New French Open Betting Favorite

In the wake of Sinner’s ouster, world #3 Alexander Zverev became the outright favorite at 30¢ at Kalshi, which is equal to a +233 price in American odds.

The 29-year-old German has reached three Grand Slam finals in his career, losing each one: 2020 US Open vs Dominic Thiem (6–2, 6–4, 4–6, 3–6, 6–76), 2024 French Open vs Carlos Alcaraz (3–6, 6–2, 7–5, 1–6, 2–6), 2025 Australian Open vs Sinner (3–6, 6–74, 3–6).

Zverev is 23-6 in his last 29 ATP matches, and four of those losses came to Sinner, meaning he is 23-2 in his last 25 against people other than the world #1.

Djokovic Second-Favorite at Age 39

Nearing 40, Novak Djokovic is the new second-favorite to win the 2026 French Open at 19¢ (equal to +426 in American odds). Djokovic has won a record 24 Grand Slams in his illustrious career, but none since the 2023 US Open.

If he’s able to win this year’s French Open, he’ll become the oldest man to ever win a Grand Slam, and by a considerable margin. The current record holder is Ken Roswell, who was 37-and-change when he won the 1972 Australian Open on his home soil.

Teenage Jodar Given Legitimate Chance

Spanish phenom Rafael Jodar, still just 19 years old, is now the third-favorite to win the 2026 French Open at 9¢ (equal to +1000 odds). Ranked #29 in the world, Jodar has already won his maiden ATP title this season, capturing the crown in Marrakech (dropping just one set in five matches). He blitzed his first opponent at Roland Garros, #67 Alex Kovacevic (6-1, 6-0, 6-4), in just 1:36. He encountered a little more resistance in round two against #82 James Duckworth (6-1, 6-75, 6-4, 7-5).
