Group K comes down to a Miami showdown, with Colombia and Portugal meeting to decide top spot. Colombia sits first on six points after beating Uzbekistan and DR Congo, and a draw is enough to win the group. Portugal, second on four points, needs an outright win to leapfrog them. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, June 27 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

Colombia rolls in on a two-win streak, led by Luis Diaz and James Rodriguez. Portugal answers with a star-studded lineup and a red-hot Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored twice in a 5-0 rout of Uzbekistan. Both teams are all but through, which should make for an open, attacking game.

The market makes Portugal a slight favorite, but I see value going the other way. Let’s break down my best bets, goalscorer picks, and the latest injury news.

Colombia vs Portugal Best Bets

My Colombia vs Portugal best bets fade the favorite in a game both teams should attack. Here’s the full card, with the breakdown below.

Portugal banked all five of its goals in one game, the 5-0 win over Uzbekistan, and got shut out by DR Congo. That’s a thin sample to trust at a short price. Colombia has been the busier side, piling up shots and winning both of its games. Even needing only a draw, Nestor Lorenzo’s side attacks in waves. Getting them at 30¢ (+233) is my favorite number on the board.

Total-Goals Pick: Over 2.5 (57¢ at Kalshi)

With both teams essentially through, expect them to play freely rather than grind it out. Colombia generates heavy shot volume and pushes a high line, while Portugal has Ronaldo and a deep attack. The market has bet the over up to 57¢ (-133), and I’m right there with it.

Colombia vs Portugal Goalscorer Picks

The Colombia vs Portugal goalscorer market is loaded with talent. Here’s where the anytime prices sit on Kalshi.

Player (Team)Anytime (Kalshi)American
Cristiano Ronaldo (POR)42¢+138
Luis Diaz (COL)24¢+316
Bruno Fernandes (POR)20¢+400
Luis Suarez (COL)19¢+426
James Rodriguez (COL)12¢+733

Ronaldo is the favorite at 42¢ (+138) after his brace against Uzbekistan, and he’s the obvious play if you want the chalk. I’m hunting value on the Colombia side instead.

Goalscorer Pick: Luis Diaz (24¢ at Kalshi)

Diaz is the focal point of Colombia’s attack and should see a big share of their chances. If Portugal’s backline gets pinned deep, he’s the most likely Colombian to break through. Priced at 24¢ (+316), he gives you better than 3-to-1 on a high-volume offense. Prefer a sportsbook number? Score Bet lists him too, so grab the theScore Bet promo code first.

Colombia vs Portugal Head-to-Head History

CategoryPortugalColombia
All-Time Meetings00

Goals00

The Colombia vs Portugal head-to-head history is a blank slate. These two nations have never met in a recorded senior international, so Saturday in Miami is a genuine first.

With no past meetings to lean on, both managers will go off current form and scouting rather than history. That uncertainty is part of what keeps this line so tight.

Colombia vs Portugal Team Stats & Recent Form

Statistic (Per Game)PortugalColombia
Goals Scored2.52.0
Goals Conceded0.00.5
Total Shots12.517.5
Average Possession70.5%66.5%
Offsides2.55.0

The Colombia vs Portugal team stats show two different routes to goal. Portugal is efficient, banking its five goals on modest shot volume and almost all in one performance. Colombia leans on volume, leading with heavy shot and offside counts from an aggressive high line.

The recent form is strong on both sides. Portugal drew DR Congo 0-0 before crushing Uzbekistan 5-0, while Colombia beat both of those teams to top the group. Two attacking sides arrive with momentum and a clean knockout path already in view.

Colombia vs Portugal Injury Report

The Colombia vs Portugal injury report has a doubt on each side. Colombia striker Luis Suarez is questionable with a shoulder issue after coming off early against DR Congo, though he’s expected to be fit. Jhon Cordoba would step in up top if Suarez can’t go.

Portugal’s Tomas Araujo is also listed as doubtful, but he returned to training this week, and Roberto Martinez otherwise has a near-full-strength squad to choose from in Florida. Neither absence should change the attacking shape of this one.
