The Batlimore Orioles are brining out the brooms Monday in Tampa, seeking a 4-game sweep against the Rays.
Despite dropping the first three games of the series, the Rays are the books’ favorite in the MLB odds.
First pitch is slated for 6:05pm ET from Tropicana Field in Tampa, with MLB TV providing the broadcast coverage.

Orioles vs Rays Predictions & Props
Despite hovering just below the .500 mark at 61-63 W-L, the Orioles feature a sturdy lineup with elite sluggers like Gunnar Henderson and Pete Alonso. They pose a dangerous offensive threat every time they step into the batter’s box.
On the flip side, the home-favorite Rays boast a ridiculous 74-49 W-L record. Tampa Bay will try to bounce back and cool off those bats behind left-handed ace Shane McClanahan, who squares off against right-hander Brandon Young in the matchup of MLB probable pitchers.
Pick 1: Christian Encarnacion-Strand Over 0.5 RBIs (+231 at bet365)
When looking at his recent production away from Camden Yards, this price feels like an absolute steal. He has exceeded 0.5 RBIs in 5 of his last 6 games on the road, hitting at an 83.0% success rate in this scenario. Overall this season, the infielder is batting .269 while already racking up 18 RBIs in just 76 at-bats. Given the juicy payout, backing the Over on his RBI line provides a massive edge.
Pick 2: Tyler O’Neill Over 0.5 hits (-161 at BetMGM)
Digging deeper into the situational splits, Tyler O’Neill is currently thriving in away matchups. O’Neill has gone over 0.5 hits in 6 of 7 road games this season (86.0%). At -161 odds, I have to eat some juice to play the Over, but the underlying metrics support the heavy price tag. Through 215 at-bats this year, the veteran outfielder owns a very respectable .270 batting average and a .382 on-base percentage. He continuously finds ways to put the ball in play and reach base safely.
Pick 3: Yandy Diaz Under 1.5 total bases (-149 at Caesars)
Finally, the trends point heavily toward fading the designated hitter for Tampa Bay. Yandy Diaz is 1-3 vs a total bases over/under of 1.5 in his last 4 home games. With bookmakers listing his Under 1.5 Total Bases at -149, the implied probability aligns closely with his recent struggles to rack up extra-base hits at Tropicana Field. The ballpark’s suppressed run environment makes this an incredibly wagerable spot. I will take the Under and expect the Baltimore pitching staff to keep him relatively quiet tonight.
Orioles vs Rays Odds

The Rays enter tonight as -156 home favorites on the moneyline at FanDuel, while the visiting Orioles return a +135 payout at bet365.
If you prefer the puckline’s baseball equivalent, backing Tampa Bay on the runline to win by multiple runs offers a tempting +140 plus-money return. Baltimore is getting 1.5 runs on the spread, and the attached juice comes in at -156 odds if they cover.
The total runs market originally opened at a flat 8.0 runs but the Over bet has been whittled down a half-run to 7.5 at bet365. This dip is likely a direct response to the pitcher-friendly dimensions of Tropicana Field, combined with extensive injury reports decimating both offensive lineups. The Under at 8.0 runs is still available at DraftKings, which pays out at -118 odds.
