Texas–Tennessee and Oregon–USC are among the Week 4 college football games with changing spreads. Comparing the opening line with a later quote shows how the number available to bettors has changed ahead of Saturday.

The table compares Hard Rock Bet’s Sunday lines reported by VegasInsider with fresh quotes checked directly on Hard Rock Bet. Keeping the sportsbook consistent avoids confusing differences between books with movement over time.

Here are the updated Week 4 college football odds, followed by what those changes mean for each matchup. The latest prices were checked early Saturday, September 26.

Updated Week 4 College Football Odds

GAMESUNDAY LINELATEST LINEMOVE
Texas at TennesseeTexas -5.5Texas -4.5 (-115)1 point toward Tennessee
Oregon at USCOregon -1.5Oregon -3.5 (+100)2 points toward Oregon
Texas A&M at LSULSU -8.5LSU -8.5 (-115)Back to opener
Iowa at MichiganMichigan -4.5Michigan -5.5 (-110)1 point toward Michigan
Ole Miss at FloridaFlorida -1.5Florida -3.5 (-110)2 points toward Florida

All five spreads checked on Hard Rock Bet’s Florida site early Saturday, September 26. Movement is measured against the same book’s Sunday lines. Check the current college football odds before you bet any of these.

Texas at Tennessee: A Point Back Toward Texas

This is the one I would look at first. Texas opened -5.5, fell to -3.5 Thursday and is now -4.5 (-115). The Longhorns have recovered a point from that Thursday quote but still sit a point below their opener.

That rebound matters if Texas wins by four: -3.5 would cover, while the current -4.5 would lose. Tennessee bettors can now get +4.5 rather than Thursday’s +3.5.

Both teams are 3-0. Texas beat UTSA 30-6 after that 24-23 comeback against Ohio State, and Tennessee handled Kennesaw State 42-9. Those results provide context, but they do not establish why the line moved. Tennessee backers now receive one fewer point than they did at the opening number.

Bettors in Texas can pull up Texas prediction markets as a second look. Those are separate contracts with their own terms, not the same spread you are seeing at a sportsbook.

Oregon at USC: Back Above a Field Goal

Oregon opened -1.5 and sat at -2.5 (-120) Thursday. The Ducks are now back at -3.5 (+100), a two-point move from Sunday and a full point higher than Thursday’s quote.

The price matters alongside the spread. At +100, a $100 stake wins $100 in profit, but Oregon now needs to win by at least four to cover. A three-point Ducks win would have covered Thursday’s -2.5 and would lose at -3.5.

Dante Moore has 800 passing yards with nine touchdowns and no picks through three games, though the last one was 84-0 over an FCS opponent. Jayden Maiava has 1,173 yards, 12 touchdowns and one interception at 75.7% through four for a 4-0 USC team. Two quarterbacks playing well, two points of movement.

Other Week 4 Line Moves

LSU is back at -8.5 after reaching -9.5 Thursday, so a nine-point Tigers win would now cover. Florida remains -3.5 (-110), up from its -1.5 opener. A three-point Gators win would cover the opener but lose at the current spread.

Michigan moved from -4.5 to -5.5 against Iowa. The Hawkeyes are 3-0 giving up 176.7 yards and 4.3 points a game, but two of those were shutouts of NIU and UNI, so read that with the schedule in mind. Michigan is also 3-0, allowing 220 yards a game with 323.3 on offense.

How I’m Using These Moves

A move tells you the price changed. It does not tell you the book figured out the result. The line can also move back before kickoff.

What I do is compare the number and the juice together, then shop it. Running the same game across a few books and the prediction market apps will tell you fast whether one price is out of step with the rest.

I will also check official availability reports before kickoff. I would rather wait for the official reports than guess at what a two-point move is telling me.
