I am looking closely at the Friday night college football board to find the best player prop values. Memphis visits Tulane at 7:30 p.m. ET, while Washington at Purdue and App State at Coastal Carolina both kick off at 8 p.m. ET.
Whether we are backing a quarterback or a heavily utilized running back, the expected game script dictates everything. I have isolated three spots where 2026 usage lines up with a favorable matchup.

Jaylin Carter at +120 is the plus-money piece of these Friday CFB prop picks, while Ryan Browne and Jaquari Lewis are priced close to even. Each listed yardage threshold wins if the player reaches that number.
Best Friday College Football Player Prop Bets
CFB Prop Pick #1: Jaylin Carter 100+ Rushing Yards
- Pick: Jaylin Carter 100+ Rushing Yards (+120 at BetMGM)
Memphis brings one of the most explosive offenses in the nation into this 7:30 ET matchup in New Orleans. The 5-1 Tigers average 516.7 total yards and 38.5 points per contest, with 247 of those yards coming on the ground.
Carter is the engine of that rushing attack. He has 645 yards and eight rushing touchdowns on 89 carries, good for 7.25 yards per attempt. He cleared 100 yards against Arkansas State (183) and UAB (132), and came up just short at UNLV (97) and Boise State (95).
The matchup is why I like the plus price. Tulane allows 218.6 rushing yards per game and just gave up 329 on the ground to Army. The Green Wave offense also scores only 18.4 points per game, which sets up a script where Memphis can lean on the run late.
Carter has reached 100 yards in two of six games, so this is not automatic, and +120 reflects that. Still, his 19 carries in the UAB win show what happens when Memphis hands him the workload. My Memphis vs. Tulane prediction leans on that volume against a soft run defense. Before making any bet tonight scan the best college football betting apps to find the top price.
CFB Prop Pick #2: Ryan Browne 250+ Passing Yards
- Pick: Ryan Browne 250+ Passing Yards (-105 at BetMGM)
The Purdue Boilermakers host the Washington Huskies at 8:00 ET. Purdue puts up 32.2 points and 415.5 yards per contest, including 282 through the air.
Browne has completed 68.9% of his passes for 1,549 yards, nine touchdowns and just one interception. He has topped 250 yards in four of six starts: Indiana State (317), Wake Forest (329), UCLA (378) and Illinois (255). Indiana State is an FCS opponent, so that number deserves a discount.
The recent dip has context. His 111 yards against Notre Dame came in a 49-10 loss, and last week’s 159 came as Purdue ran for 305 yards in a 41-13 rout of Minnesota.
Washington’s pass defense is the real hurdle, allowing 193.7 yards per game. But the Huskies throw for 279.5 yards per game, and Purdue’s defense allows 31.3 points per game. My Washington vs. Purdue prediction projects a game where Browne needs to keep throwing to keep pace, and his ball security makes him a trustworthy volume passer in that script.
CFB Prop Pick #3: Jaquari Lewis 60+ Rushing Yards
- Pick: Jaquari Lewis 60+ Rushing Yards (-112 at bet365)
My App State vs. Coastal Carolina prop pick targets Lewis on the ground. The Mountaineers enter this 8 p.m. ET matchup averaging 28.4 points and 402.8 total yards per game.
Lewis leads the backfield with 261 yards and four rushing touchdowns on 57 carries. He opened with 69 yards against Maine and 73 at East Carolina, then dipped to 46, 32 and 41 over his last three games. That leaves him at two of five over 60 yards.
The matchup is the reason to buy back in. Coastal Carolina allows 189.7 rushing yards per game and 6.21 yards per play. App State’s offense stalled in a 10-3 loss to Old Dominion, where Malachi Singleton completed just 5 of 23 passes, and a steadier ground game is the most direct path back for this unit.
Volume is the key. Lewis hit 60 yards on 11 and 17 carries in his two best games, and Coastal’s run defense gives him room to get there on a similar workload. He has also scored in four of five games, a sign of how much App State trusts him in key spots. Sign up with the bet365 bonus code to tail this wager.
