  • Tuesday’s NHL picks cover two favorites and a home underdog on the 11-game slate
  • One of tonight’s teams brings a five-game win streak, while another has lost five in a row
  • See my NHL picks today below, plus Kalshi prices and analysis for all three plays

This evening brings 11 games across the league, and I’ve trimmed the card down to three spots where the price and the recent results point the same way. Two of them drop the puck at 8 pm ET, and the third is a late one out West at 10:30 pm ET.

Winnipeg is back indoors at the Canada Life Centre after Sunday’s Heritage Classic loss to host Florida. Dallas puts a hot streak on the line against New Jersey, and Buffalo heads to San Jose to start a California road trip.

You can compare sportsbook prices in the latest NHL odds, but I’m using Kalshi contract prices for these plays. My Tuesday NHL predictions and best bets are below.

A YES contract pays $1 if your team wins, so the price works as a quick read on implied probability before fees. A 54¢ contract means the market gives that team about a 54% chance.

Florida
54%

My first NHL pick today backs Florida on the road. The Panthers are 6-4-2 after a 3-2 win in Chicago on Sunday, which snapped a two-game skid.

Winnipeg is 0-3-2 in its last five, most recently losing 2-1 to Montreal. That leaves the Jets searching for a response against Florida.

A team that can’t find the net isn’t one I want to back against a club that just stopped its own slide. Florida sits around a 54% implied chance at 54¢, and I like the Cats to beat that number.

2. Devils vs Stars NHL Pick

Pick: Stars moneyline (54¢ on Kalshi)

Dallas
54%

Dallas brings a five-game winning streak into tonight’s matchup. The Stars beat the Islanders 6-3 on Sunday for their fifth straight win, improving to 7-3-1.

Jason Robertson is leading the charge. He scored twice in that game and has 8 points (3 goals, 5 assists) during a four-game point streak.

The scoring is coming from all over the lineup, too. Tyler Seguin and Wyatt Johnston each had a goal and an assist Sunday, while Roope Hintz added two helpers.

That win was the third game of a six-game homestand, so Dallas stays in its own barn for this one. I’m not fading a home team scoring at this clip for roughly a 54% implied shot, so my Devils vs Stars prediction is Dallas to win.

3. Sabres vs Sharks Prediction

Pick: Sharks moneyline (45¢ on Kalshi)

San Jose
45%

I’m wrapping up my NHL picks today with the lone underdog on the card. Buffalo arrives in San Jose at 4-4-3, and its problems start in its own end.

Buffalo’s net-front defense remains a problem. That gives San Jose a clear route to offense, by getting bodies inside and making Buffalo defend second chances rather than settling for shots from the perimeter.

That’s a defense I’ll happily go against with the Sharks on home ice. Kalshi has San Jose at 45¢, which works out to about a 45% implied chance. I’ll take that price on a home team facing a Buffalo group still trying to plug its leaks.
