Paige VanZant debuted in bare-knuckle boxing in a losing effort against Britain Hart at BKFC Knucklemania in February.

In her sophomore BKFC effort, the former UFC veteran looks to garner her first bare-knuckle win and shift the record to .500 at this juncture in VanZant’s 2021 combative campaign.

Ostovich makes her bare-knuckle boxing debut, and for a while, BKFC was very much not on her radar at all.
It was the opportunity to compete with VanZant once again and gain redemption that prompted the pivot. Now the Invicta FC UFC vet will take the gloves off and throw down.
Paige VanZant and Rachael Ostovich Run It Back
This is the first time the two will fight under the BKFC banner, but there is certainly a level of familiarity with each other.
VanZant and Ostovich previously fought against each other in UFC competition in a flyweight fight.

Paige VanZant bested Rachael Ostovich via a second-round armbar in their January 2019 Octagon clash.
But grappling options are completely off the table as they run it back in an entirely new combat discipline.

Ultimately, I think VanZant’s marginal BKFC experience edge will be the big difference maker here.
I think you’ll see Ostovich get more comfortable and fluid as the story of the fight unfurls. But VanZant will largely dictate the pace and have the competitive comfortability to notch the W.
Pick: Paige VanZant (-200)
Arnold Adams vs Mick Terrill
Arnold Adams is 4-1 in bare-knuckle boxing, was the former Police Gazette/BKFC champion, and is the only man to have beaten reigning heavyweight kingpin Joey Beltran inside the BKFC ring.
Adams cemented himself as the inaugural BKFC heavyweight champion and takes on the BKB world heavyweight champion who has a spotless record in the gloveless art.

Mick Terrill also has a past in Thai Boxing which gives him more familiarity with clinch positions than someone just transitioning straight from BKB rules to the BKFC ruleset.
Terrill is 4-0 under the BKB banner with a one hundred percent finishing rate. While he is making his BKFC debut, he already holds a victory over a ranked BKFC heavyweight in Josh Burns.

In the end, I think that there is great underdog value on Adams here.
I just think his successes in BKFC and the far greater familiarity with the specific nuances of BKFC’s ruleset will be huge factors for Arnold Adams getting it done.
Pick: Arnold Adams (Â +175)
Other Picks for BKFC 19:
- Jenny Savage vs Britain Hart: This is a grudge match between some of the higher ranked featherweights within the company. I think Hart’s bolstered confidence from the VanZant win coupled with her experience edge and near four-inch reach advantage will guide her to victory. Pick: Britain Hart (-260)
- Taylor Starling vs Cassie Robb: This is another featherweight fight that is drawing a lot of attention but one where the line is fairly askew in my estimation. I think Starling should definitely be the favorite here but the nature of the line leads me to go with Robb purely based on the underdog value. Pick: Cassie Robb (+280)
- Jared Warren vs Zion Tomlinson: Warren is 1-1 in BKFC and returns to the venue where he garnered his lone bare-knuckle boxing win so far. Conversely, Tomlinson is 2-0, with both wins coming via first-round stoppage. I’m not outright saying he gets another first-round finish here, but I foresee Tomlinson going 3-0 with three KOs. Pick: Zion Tomlinson (-220)
