Notre Dame travels to Pittsburgh to face the 7-2 Panthers on Saturday, November 15. The Fighting Irish have won seven in a row after starting the season 1-1. The Panthers have won five straight heading into Week 12.
Kickoff for this battle of 7-2 teams is scheduled for noon ET.

This game is going to be a must-watch in the early window of college football. A lot of clashing styles are taking place, and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
Notre Dame started the season with back-to-back losses, but they have rallied, winning seven straight. A big reason for this turnaround is their defense. This still is not the defensive unit we are used to seeing with the Fighting Irish, but they have held four of their last five opponents to 10 points or fewer.
CJ Carr looks like the real deal for Notre Dame, and he is getting more comfortable every week. On the season, Carr has thrown for 2,275 yards, 19 touchdowns, and just four interceptions. They have two very talented running backs in Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price, who will look to continue their momentum in this game.
They will have to earn every yard against Pitt’s defense, which leads the nation against the run. They have allowed just 2.4 yards per carry this season.
Offensively, Pitt has been dynamic once Mason Heintschel took over under center. He has thrown for over 300 yards in every start except for one.
These teams are both well-rounded and well-coached, so it should be fun seeing these two teams go at it on Saturday, Nov. 15.
I believe this game will be a lot closer than the spread suggests, so my Notre Dame vs Pittsburgh pick is Pittsburgh +12.5. Ten of the last 14 meetings between these two teams have been decided by single digits.
Pitt’s offense can score on anyone, and even though the Notre Dame defense has improved, this is one of the better offenses they will have faced of late.
Jeremiyah Love will have a tough test against Pitt’s defense, and I trust the Panthers to make enough stops to keep this game close.
Pitt is one of the best against-the-spread teams in college football, going 7-2 ATS. The Panthers have also covered the spread in five straight games.
Notre Dame is just 1-2 against the spread on the road this season, and I believe they will have a difficult time winning by multiple scores on Saturday.
The Fighting Irish will probably still win this game outright, but do not be surprised if Pitt is in this game until the very end.
