Week 7 of the NCAA football season brings massive stakes to the Saturday slate. I am zeroing in on a pivotal Big Ten showdown where the Ohio State Buckeyes (5-1) travel as road favorites in the college football odds against the undefeated Indiana Hoosiers (6-0). This one will have heavy implications for the conference crown.
Meanwhile, the Michigan Wolverines (3-2) prepare to host the Penn State Nittany Lions (3-3) in Ann Arbor. Michigan sits as a home favorite in a game where defense should dictate the outcome. Out in the Big 12, the Kansas State Wildcats (3-2) look to protect their home turf against the Kansas Jayhawks (2-3).
Extracting value this week means looking beyond traditional sportsbooks. Let’s dive into the college football prediction markets picks for Week 7, including the best Kalshi and Polymarket bets.
College Football Prediction Market Picks for Week 7

All three picks are favorites, so the returns are modest. Michigan at 69¢ is the priciest contract on the card, while Ohio State at 61¢ offers the best return on a winning contract.
Prediction market prices work as implied probabilities. A 61¢ Yes contract implies roughly a 61% chance and pays $1 if it wins. That $1 includes your original 61¢, so the profit is 39¢ before fees. For a pick to carry value, the team needs to win more often than its contract price implies.
CFB Week 7 Prediction Market Pick #1: Ohio State at Indiana
- Pick: Ohio State to Win (61¢ on Polymarket)
Ohio State enters this massive clash of National Championship odds contenders holding immense market respect, and the season numbers explain why. Through six games, the Buckeyes are scoring 42.7 points per game while allowing just 13.2. Their defense is giving up only 4 yards per play, the best mark among the six teams on this card.
Quarterback Julian Sayin has been surgical, completing 71.2% of his passes for 1,772 yards, 17 touchdowns and two interceptions.
Indiana is no pushover. The Hoosiers average 7.82 yards per play, and Josh Hoover has thrown 17 touchdowns without an interception. Still, two of their last three wins were one-score games, including a 20-17 escape at Nebraska last week. My Ohio State vs. Indiana prediction leans on the Buckeyes’ balance on both sides of the ball, and 61¢ works out to roughly -156 before fees.

CFB Week 7 Prediction Market Pick #2: Kansas at Kansas State
- Pick: Kansas State to Win (64¢ on Kalshi)
Kansas State holds the scoring edge on both sides of the ball this season, putting up 35.6 points per game and allowing 19.2, compared to 33.6 and 21.8 for Kansas. Avery Johnson has completed 63.8% of his throws with nine touchdowns and three interceptions. Kansas quarterback Isaiah Marshall is completing just 53.9% of his passes with four picks, and the Jayhawks enter at -3 in turnover margin after a 41-24 loss at Utah.
This is not a spotless profile. Kansas holds the yards-per-play edge on offense (6.64 to 6.36) and defense (4.89 to 5.01), and Kansas State has dropped two straight, including a 35-16 home loss to Houston. My Kansas vs. Kansas State prediction still backs the home team with the more accurate quarterback at 64¢, roughly -178 before fees.

CFB Week 7 Prediction Market Pick #3: Penn State at Michigan
- Pick: Michigan to Win (69¢ on Kalshi)
Penn State vs Michigan profiles as a low-scoring matchup in Ann Arbor. When games turn into grinds, you back the better defense, and that is Michigan.
The Wolverines are allowing 15.8 points and 4.02 yards per play, while Penn State’s defense gives up 5.12 yards per play. The Nittany Lions also arrive on a three-game losing streak, averaging 18.7 points in losses to Wisconsin, Northwestern and USC. Michigan comes off its Week 6 bye after one-score losses to Iowa (20-19) and Minnesota (20-14).
At 69¢, roughly -223 before fees, this is the most expensive contract on the card, and the Michigan offense gives me some pause. The Wolverines average 23 points and 5.39 yards per play with a -4 turnover margin, and Bryce Underwood has thrown five touchdowns against four interceptions. Penn State sits at +5 in turnover margin, so ball security is the swing factor.
My Penn State vs. Michigan prediction still trusts the Wolverines’ defense to win a low-scoring slugfest at home.
