Tuesday night football heads to Robert W. Plaster Stadium as Sam Houston (1-6, 0-3 CUSA) visits Missouri State (2-5, 1-2 CUSA) on ESPN2. Neither team has found consistent footing this fall, but the Bears bring home field and a passing attack that has produced big numbers over the last two weeks.
That combination makes Missouri State the right side to win this Sam Houston vs Missouri State matchup. The market agrees, though, and the current Kalshi price already reflects most of the home team’s edge.
Below, I break down my prediction, the full Kalshi odds board and the price that turns this lean into a buy.
Sam Houston vs Missouri State Prediction
Prediction: Missouri State to win | Entry: Missouri State Yes below 60¢ on Kalshi (currently 67¢; pass)
My Sam Houston vs Missouri State prediction is Missouri State to win outright. The Bears are at home, own the better record and have a pass-catch duo that can stress any secondary. Sam Houston enters still searching for its first conference win, and that is a tough spot against an offense capable of flipping field position with one throw.
The issue is price. At 67¢, Kalshi implies a 67% chance Missouri State wins. I make the Bears a clear favorite, but not by that wide a margin. My entry limit remains below 60¢; the current quote asks too much for a team that is still 2-5.
If Missouri State falls below 60¢ before kickoff, that would meet my entry condition. Until then, the prediction stands without a wager attached.
Sam Houston vs Missouri State Odds
Here are the Sam Houston vs Missouri State odds on Kalshi heading into Tuesday.
Each Kalshi contract pays $1 if it hits, so the price doubles as the implied probability. The key takeaway here is that Missouri State is priced as a solid favorite, but they are seven cents above my 60¢ entry. The spread and total are included for comparison, but I am not recommending either market.

Henry Belin IV and Isaiah Myers Drive Missouri State’s Offense
The biggest storyline in Sam Houston vs Missouri State is the connection between quarterback Henry Belin IV and receiver Isaiah Myers. Belin, a Duke transfer, has completed 54 of 74 passes for 637 yards and four touchdowns in two starts with the Bears.
Myers has been his top target. He enters tonight’s game with 796 receiving yards this season and is coming off an 11-catch, 242-yard, two-touchdown performance at Delaware.
For Sam Houston, slowing that pairing is the whole game plan. If Belin keeps completing passes at this rate and Myers wins on the outside, the Bears can control the scoreboard and back up the win prediction. It also explains the 50.5 total, due to the fact that Missouri State’s passing game can push the pace, but that alone does not settle the total.
