When Megyn Kelly left Fox News, she did not leave quietly. She was one of many Fox News staffers to accuse then-CEO Roger Ailes of sexual harassment and played a pivotal role in his resignation. As the network leaped into damage control, Kelly left for an eight-figure deal with NBC.

Yesterday (Sunday, June 4th), she launched her NBC debut of Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly (“Sunday Night“), which featured an interview with Vladimir Putin. NBC has some lofty expectations for the show, pitting it against CBS’ long-running 60 minutes. Her 9:00 am show, which will compete with Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest, kicks off in the near-future as well.

How will she do? Who will she offend? Here are the numbers for the former Kelly File host.

Megyn Kelly at NBC: The Odds

Odds Sunday Night beats 60 Minutes in the ratings by year-end 2017: 19/1

60 Minutes has a stronghold over Sunday nights, and it’s going to take some time before Kelly can go toe-to-toe with the CBS powerhouse. Despite landing a huge guest in Vladimir Putin last night, her show was met with tepid reviews.

Still, she’s a ratings juggernaut and if anyone can dethrone 60 minutes, it’s her.

Odds Kelly’s morning show beats Live with Kelly and Ryan by year-end 2017: 9/1

This is another tough ask for Kelly. Live with Kelly and Ryan is off to a strong start after Ryan Seacrest put an end to the rotating cast of co-hosts. Its inaugural week raked in its highest ratings in over two months.

It’ll be interesting to see how Megyn approaches the morning show format. These are uncharted waters for her.

Odds Donald Trump criticizes Kelly’s shows over Twitter in 2017: 1/2

Donald Trump spent a lot of time attacking Kelly during the 2016 campaign. She was one of the few Fox News personalities willing to criticize Trump, and it definitely didn’t go unnoticed. If she remains critical of the president at NBC, then it’s likely we’ll see the feud reignited.

Odds to be a guest on Sunday Night in 2017:

  • Ivanka Trump: 2/1
  • Cory Booker: 4/1
  • Hillary Clinton: 5/1
  • Marco Rubio: 5/1
  • Donald Trump: 9/1

It’s still very early so we don’t know exactly what the style and tenor of Sunday Night will be. But it’s fair to assume that it will be heavy on politics with a conservative bent. That makes it a good fit for Ivanka Trump.

Cory Booker, who sees himself as a unifier, could try to work his magic with the former Fox host, while Clinton and Rubio could also be considering an appearance.

Donald Trump appeared in a one-on-one interview with Kelly during the Primaries, but now that he’s president, it’s pretty unlikely.
