Now, not only is she the most-nominated artist for the upcoming 2020 Grammy Awards, Lizzo’s fan base is so enamored with her, they’re invested in her dating life.

Lizzo’s visit to Staples Center had all eyes in the house on her. Her slinky outfit definitely drew attention, and it wasn’t long before television and photographers caught a view and put her on camera.
When asked which team she was rooting for for the evening, Lizzo responded by saying “Let me tell you something both teams are great,” and then added, “I’m personally cheering for number 32.”

When the reporter asked “Karl-Anthony Towns?” to clarify, Lizzo responded with “That’s my baby… new man, Minnesota Timberwolves!”
It’s hard to know if this was just an off the cuff comment or if Lizzo was genuinely filing her public interest in the All-Star big man.
Lizzo, 31, is seemingly single, and her interest in the 24-year-old athlete was a cute on-camera moment. But is there more than meets the eye to this potential love story?

Lizzo is one of the most popular celebrities and entertainers of the year. She’s found her footing and her accessible personality and body positivity have really resonated with fans.

But Lizzo’s personality is truly larger than life. She’s been marketed as a loudmouth wild woman, and her Twitter feed certainly backs that reputation up.
Even at the Staples Center that night during for the game, Lizzo showed up with an oversized top on and no pants. When the Jumbotron panned to her when her song “Truth Hurts” played, she took no time turning around and exposing her bare butt in a thong while she twerked.
Lizzo’s interest in Towns may be genuine, but even so, between her intense persona and her busy schedule, it’s unlikely for a romance to spark up between her and an NBA player right now. Both parties are constantly on the road anyway.
Towns has done well for himself in the NBA, but he’s not on Lizzo’s fame level at the moment. That said, he may be already romantically linked. Rumors have surfaced of him and former Kardashian bestie Jordyn Woods being an undercover item.
Sorry Lizzo, it’s probably not going to happen. The truth really does hurt.
