- It all comes down to Tiger’s facial hair
For almost a year now, Tiger Woods has been walking under his own steam, but the PGA Tour has failed to place him in a head-to-head knife fight with Phil Mickelson.
The two have therefore decided to take matters into their own hands and will face off at Shadow Creek Golf Course this Thanksgiving. The prize is rumored to be $10 million.
You’ll be able to watch Tiger vs Phil on pay-per-view, for a small fee.
Since you can’t win that $10 million, you can play along with this props sheet at home.
Tiger vs Phil Match Props
Will Tiger Woods wear his iconic red shirt/black pants combination? Will he play with the Scotty Cameron blade he recorded every win with, or the new mallet putter he’s been working with recently? How bad will Tiger Woods’ facial hair be?
What kind of tricks will Phil Mickelson be up to? How silly of a wedge will he bring to Shadow Creek? Is a 65 degree wedge even possible?
Can Tiger Woods hit nine fairways? Will David Feherty be in attendance? Will the president show up? Will Steven Ames, who lost to Tiger Woods 9-8 in 2006, show up to lose awfully at something else?

Here’s an article my colleague Sascha Paruk wrote, which is the same thing but better researched.
Actuaries figure that PGA Tour players make a hole in one on about 1 in 2500 attempts. That’s just on par threes, of which there are four at Shadow Creek.
Tiger could probably make the green on 11 in one, now that I think of it.
Tiger’s been flip-flopping on which putter to use. He switched to a TaylorMade Ardmore mallet putter before the Quicken Loans National, and then switched back to his trusty Scotty Cameron blade when that stopped working.
