Old savvy MLB experts say that when you reach Memorial Day, you finally get the idea about who is for the long road, and who is a pretender. This 2012 season the Major League Baseball has had a pretty crazy year; let’s see which teams could be a good fit for a future bet.

Despite entering the season with lost of “political” questions, Ozzie Guillen and his Miami Marlins recorded a 20-8 record on May. “I want 20 wins every month,” manager Ozzie Guillen said. The Marlins climbed six games above .500 for the first time since June 4, 2011.

The Marlins are third in the National League East; one and a half game behind the Washington Capitals.

Also, Baltimore, the White Sox, Cincinnati, and the Dodgers are leading the other divisions; however, Texas has been the most impressive team in the MLB, and probably the best for a future bet.

The Rangers are currently sitting at number one at run, batting averages, slugging percentage, and second in on base percentage; they have been amazing on every single offensive stat.
