Los Angeles vs Texas Probable Pitchers

Michael Lorenzen (7-6, 4.74) is scheduled to start for the Angels against left-hander Martin Perez (12-6, 2.84). Both will be pitching on five days of rest.

Lorenzen is 1-1 with a 3.38 ERA in two starts since being out from July 2-Sept. 8 with a strained right shoulder.

Last Friday, Lorenzen beat the Seattle Mariners in Anaheim. He went five innings and gave up three runs on four hits with six strikeouts and two walks.

Lorenzen has only faced the Rangers twice, both times in relief, and has not allowed a run in two innings. This will be his first appearance at Globe Life Field.
