In the wild card game, Matt Beaty started at first base. The Giants have been using Wilmer Flores, LaMonte Wade Jr. and Darin Ruf at first in Belt’s absence.
Dodgers vs Giants Pick
The Giants held a thin 10-9 edge over the Dodgers in the regular season, including going 4-5 at home.
Giants reserve outfielder Austin Slater hit .394 (13 for 33) with three doubles and two home runs and Flores batted .342 (14 for 41) with three doubles and two homers.

The Dodgers will miss Muncy after he hit eight homers against the Giants in the regular season. Meanwhile, 2019 NL MVP Cody Bellinger was miserable 2 for 48 (.042) with 21 strikeouts.
It is hard to bet against a pitcher who hasn’t lost in 20 starts. However, Buehler’s postseason experience against the playoff neophyte Webb will make a difference.
The Pick: Dodgers moneyline (-145)
