American Bailey Schoenfelder (5-0) enters the Dana White Contender Series Week 7 main event as the heavy favorite. He’s scored two wins in Bellator finishing both Kory Moegenburg and Mark Currier before most recently defeating Greg Velasco to win the CFFC heavyweight title at Cage Fury 131.

Meanwhile, Danylo Voievodkin (6-0) will aim to upset his heavily favored opponent. The 24-year-old Ukrainian has finished every fight in his young career, sporting five knockouts and a submission victory. Thus far in his career only one opponent has lasted longer than a minute in the cage with the native of Fastiv, Ukraine. We’ll see if Schoenfelder can change that.

At the end of the day, Schoenfelder is huge, he’s in incredible shape and has displayed his prowess against far more impressive competition. Daniel Funza vs Vadym Kutsyi Odds & Pick

Two experienced welterweights look to earn a UFC contract in DWCS Week 7. Daniel Frunza (8-2) and Vadym Kutsyi (17-1) each enter this bout coming off of impressive win streaks. Frunza has won four straight bouts by knockout including two spectacular finishes in the Legacy Fighting Alliance.

The Romanian is particularly aggressive in his bouts, closing distances with reckless abandon and cutting off opponents’ escape routes. On the other side of the cage, Kutsyi enters this bout on his own impressive 10-fight win streak. According to Tapology, the 33-year-old Belarussian is the 125th ranked welterweight in Europe and has finished five of his last six fights. He’s also by far the more experienced fighter. However, he hasn’t stepped in the cage since December of 2022, and will have to dust off the cobwebs.

Expect Kutsyi to show some rust in his first fight in nearly 24 months. Bet on the far more active, aggressive Funza to win this one by knockout.
