The stakes are high at the Meta Apex this Tuesday at 7 PM ET with 10 more fighters vying for a UFC contract. I constantly evaluate these regional standouts to find a true betting edge before the market adjusts to the incoming money.
This card is anchored by a pivotal welterweight showdown featuring Patrick Rivera vs Adam Darby. Deciphering these betting lines requires looking past the public chalk to find actionable value.
Here are my definitive Dana White’s Contender Series Week 4 predictions, picks and odds.
Dana White’s Contender Series Week 4 Odds
Headlining fighter Adam Darby stands out as the biggest favorite on the card with -450 odds in the main event. Conversely, Patrick Rivera enters as the biggest underdog at +310, setting the stage for a lucrative upset if the market mispriced this clash. After what we saw last week with Alex Apodaca toppling Bella Mir, nothing can be ruled out.

Patrick Rivera vs. Adam Darby Prediction
Adam Darby is the more well-rounded fighter, even if his striking is still a work in progress. The tall and lanky Darby likes to get his hands dirty, but his biggest edge is on the mat, where his BJJ black belt gives him a clear finishing path.
Darby can struggle when opponents pressure on the feet, but Rivera is not the type to sustain that kind of pace. The Baltimore native tends to let fights come to him rather than force the issue. Rivera has also been submitted in three of his four losses, which points directly toward Darby’s best win condition on the ground.
I do not want to lay the moneyline at this price, but the inside-the-distance prop fits the matchup. Darby should be able to wear on Rivera and close the show in emphatic fashion. Consider the submission prop for even more value.
- DWCS Week 4 Pick #1: Adam Darby ITD (-130 at Bet365)
Brandon Holmes vs. Modestino Rodrigues Best Bet
I see this as a tailor-made matchup for the underdog Modestino Rodrigues. He is the more aggressive and creative kickboxer, while Holmes is a stiff power puncher who needs opponents standing in front of him. Holmes has slightly more generic name value as a DWCS 2025 alum, but this is another difficult matchup for him.
Holmes’ power and offensive striking is more than enough to stack wins on the regional scene. But against high-level opposition, his defense is concerning. Holmes is so heavily reliant on his long guard, believing that his shorter and less athletic opponents cannot reach him while backing up.
Rodrigues is too experienced for that type of defense to hold up. The former K-1 kickboxer has the variety, angles and kicking game to work around that look instead of crashing straight into it.
Holmes has the power to end the fight, and Rodrigues has been knocked out before, but the underdog has the cleaner path to winning exchanges at range. I like Rodrigues to stay active, make Holmes reset and find the finish with the more layered offense.
- DWCS Week 4 Pick #2: Modestino Rodrigues ML (+140 at Bet365)
Liam McCracken vs. Silvestre Sanchez Pick
Liam McCracken is one of the biggest draws of DWCS Week 4, but Silvestre Sanchez is no pushover opponent. Sanchez should start fast and force wrestling exchanges right away. That matters because McCracken can be a slow starter, and Sanchez is not likely to give him a comfortable first few minutes.
Still, McCracken has good takedown defense, strong hips and the willingness to fight through those positions. I expect him to make Sanchez work hard before his superior striking begins to show.
The key is Sanchez’s durability and resistance. Even if McCracken takes over as the cleaner striker with a prisine jab, Sanchez has the chin and pressure to push this past the early danger window. Expect this fight to go long, allowing McCracken to show the full layers to his impressive repertoire.
- DWCS Week 4 Pick #3: McCracken vs Sanchez Over 1.5 (-180 at Bet365)
Gabriel Lourenco vs. Charlie Cleveland Prediction
Gabriel Lourenco is dangerous, but his offense can get wild. Coming from the esteemed Chute Boxe gym, Lourenco winds up heavily on his shots and relies a lot on leg kicks to create chaos. While devastating when he lands, almost all of his strikes are singular without combination and extremely telegraphed.
Cleveland is not as physically gifted, yet I trust him as the more educated fighter. I expect him to make reads, see the big swings coming and avoid giving Lourenco the kind of brawl he wants. Lourenco really struggles to find his range when he cannot land his leg kicks.
Cleveland also seems like the smarter minute-to-minute fighter. His game plans usually look built for the opponent, and that should matter against someone this explosive but readable. Cleveland has also shown more grappling throughout his career than Lourenco, potentially giving him a path to victory on the ground.
- DWCS Week 4 Pick #4: Charlie Cleveland by KO/TKO or DEC (-130 at Bet365)
Hunter Smith vs. Adam Livingston Best Bet
This is a volatile striker-versus-striker matchup. Livingston overwhelms opponents with volume and variety, while Smith carries the kind of thudding one-punch power that can change a fight instantly. Both already have an impressive highlight reel on their regional resumes.
Both fighters can get wild and chaotic, but durability is the reason I prefer the total. I like Livingston’s diversity and pace to win minutes, but Smith is tough enough to make him earn everything. Livingston and Smith have both been tested already and been forced to gut through adversity to pull off dramatic wins.
I am expecting a hard 15-minute fight rather than a quick collapse. The danger is real on both sides, but their toughness points me toward extended action. Livingston is the more skilled overall fighter who will likely get his hand raised, but Smith will make him earn every second.
- DWCS Week 4 Pick #5: Smith vs Livingston Over 1.5 (-140 at Bet365)
