Just seven games will be played in the Association on Thursday, April 7th, but there are a few intriguing matchups to keep an eye on. In the East, the Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers clash, while the Boston Celtics also visit the Milwaukee Bucks. In the West, the Memphis Grizzlies take a trip to the Mile High City to take on Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.
While the Los Angeles Lakers are officially out of play-in contention, they will look to end a seven-game losing streak in the Bay Area against the Golden State Warriors.
As of publishing time, props were only available for the two games below.

Embiid Shows Out
Joel Embiid continues to solidify himself as a legitimate contender for MVP. While Jokic is considered the favorite right now, the Sixers big man is doing everything imaginable to take home the honors at the season’s end. With Philly still fighting to solidify their playoff seeding in the East, Embiid is playing out of his mind.

The former Kansas star dropped 45 points on Tuesday night against the Pacers while also grabbing 13 rebounds. The game before that? Embiid went for 44 and 17 boards against the struggling Cavaliers. In fact, he’s hit the over in points in three of his last four games. It’s clear Embiid is rising to the occasion when it matters most.

The center is playing with boatloads of confidence at the moment and will be ready to have another big night on Thursday vs. Toronto. Although he was quiet against the Raps in his last game in March, Embiid posted 36 points in December in the Six. Considering he just balled out for 40+ and the over/under is set at 32.5, this is worth a shot.
- Pick: Joel Embiid Over 32.5 Points (-105)
LaMelo Dropping Dimes
The Hornets have lost two in a row, but LaMelo Ball is certainly doing his part. The sophomore guard just posted a stat line of 18 points, 14 assists, and five rebounds on Tuesday night against the Heat, absolutely carving up one of the better defenses in the league. While Ball has improved as a scorer this season, his real bread and butter is facilitating.

In fact, Melo previously hit the over in dimes in four of his last five games, notching a mind-boggling 34 of them across the last three outings. It doesn’t even seem to matter the opponent, Ball’s playmaking will be on full display regardless. However, Charlotte faces an Orlando Magic team on Thursday who struggles to limit their opponents in most categories. More importantly, they allow over 25 assists per game. I could see Melo easily hitting the over here and putting up another double-digits night in terms of dimes.
- Pick: LaMelo Ball Over 7.5 Assists (+100)
