It’s been four years since the Las Vegas Raiders faced the Arizona Cardinals, Kyler Murray was entering his final year at Oklahoma and heading toward winning a Heisman Trophy. Derek Carr and the Raiders were still in Oakland.

That game was played in 2018 and when it comes to player prop betting analysis, looking back helps little here. The Raiders only won four games that season. One was a 23-21 decision against Arizona.

Derek Carr threw for two touchdowns. Carr is one of the few remaining players from that game.

As they meet again, it’s the home Las Vegas Raiders that is set as 5.5-point favorites in the contest. This game will kickoff at 4:25pm ET on Sunday, September 18 at Allegiant Stadium. The weather forecast is calling for Sunny skies, 18 mph winds and a temperature of 90 degrees. CBS is carrying the broadcast in the USA, with streaming available through fuboTV. DAZN is carrying the game in Canada.

Let’s look at the best Cardinals vs Raiders player props and scoring props available below for your Arizona vs Las Vegas picks.

Carr is listed at 1.5 in his passing touchdown total in the table above, while Murray is also listed at 1.5. Davante Adams has the highest receiving yardage prop at 92.5.

Prop #1: James Conner Under 49.5 Rushing Yards

That was then and this is now. James Conner had just ten carries for 26 yards in Week 1’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Part of that was score effects but part of that was Conner was largely ineffective. He did punch in a touchdown though at least. That being said, Las Vegas held the Los Angeles Chargers to a mere 76 yards rushing in Week 1.

However, Conner is likely to average only 10-15 runs a game. To get the most out of him, Connor can be used out of the backfield quite well. Last week, the running back caught five passes for 29 yards. With the latest injury news, that can easily happen again, so take the following picks.

Picks: James Conner under 49.5 rushing yards (-115), 1 unit, over 21.5 yards receiving (-114), 1 unit.

Prop #2: Derek Carr Over 25.5 completions

When it comes to Week 1 of the NFL season, Derek Carr often gets off to a bit of a slow start. Thankfully, he gets to play the Arizona Cardinals at home this week who allowed 360 yards passing and 30 completions last week.

Las Vegas will be at home and the Cardinals’ defense is a bit of a work in progress.

Pick: Derek Carr over 25.5 completions (-104), 1 unit.

Prop #3: Adams Goes In First

Derek Carr likes throwing to Davante Adams. The connection is well known from their days in college at Fresno State. Last week against the Chargers, the former Green Bay Packer went off for ten receptions and 141 yards with a touchdown. Everyone saw what Arizona did last week.

The Las Vegas Raiders are going to want to get off to a good start at home and Adams will get to feast on Arizona’s secondary early. He should get in the end zone first.

Pick: Davante Adams first touchdown scorer (+525), 1 unit.

Prop #4: Connor Is Still a Touchdown Machine

James Conner scored again last week for Arizona and with less offensive options, he gets a boost in Week 2.

He was top three in touchdowns in 2021 and is just getting started.

Pick: James Conner anytime TD (-125), 1 unit.
