The lineup comes in at exactly $50,000, leaving no salary on the table. Here are my DraftKings NFL best daily fantasy picks for Sunday’s Week 9 slate.
NFL DFS Week 9 DraftKings Lineup
Player-by-player breakdown
Sam Darnold – QB, $5,600
Darnold has thrown for 1,290 yards and eight touchdowns through seven games, including a four-touchdown performance against Washington. He has also thrown for 257 yards and a touchdown in his most recent game against Kansas City.
At $5,600, Darnold offers salary relief with the potential for a multi-touchdown outing. Arizona is rated 31st in the quarterback matchup rankings, making this a favorable spot for Seattle’s passing game.
Rhamondre Stevenson – RB, $6,100
Stevenson has totaled 367 rushing yards and two touchdowns through eight games, while compiling 23 receptions for 212 yards and a receiving score. His receiving work has been especially useful, highlighted by a five-catch, 93-yard performance against Chicago in Week 7.
At $6,100, Stevenson brings rushing volume and pass-catching upside. Green Bay ranks 25th in the running back matchup rankings, giving him a reasonable possibility to contribute.
Javonte Williams – RB, $7,300
Williams has rushed for 528 yards and eight touchdowns through eight games. He has also contributed as a receiver, with 19 catches for 104 yards and a score. His Week 7 performance against Philadelphia stood out: he rushed for 155 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries.
At $7,300, Williams is one of the lineup’s key spend-up options. Indianapolis is rated 24th in the running back matchup rankings, and his workload gives him a strong path to fantasy production.
Denzel Boston – WR, $5,000
Boston has recorded 26 receptions for 409 yards and three touchdowns through eight games. He is averaging 15.7 yards per catch, showing the ability to make plays downfield. Cleveland Browns
At $5,000, Boston offers a reasonably priced receiver with big-play potential. New Orleans is rated 12th in the wide receiver matchup rankings, so he may need to take advantage of his targets to return value.
Demario Douglas – WR, $4,800
Douglas provides salary relief at $4,800 and is a lower-cost option in New England’s passing game. As a slot receiver, he can create opportunities for short receptions and yards after the catch.
The matchup against Green Bay is rated 24th in the wide receiver rankings. Douglas is best viewed as a value play whose upside depends on target volume and his ability to turn short catches into meaningful gains.
Malik Nabers – WR, $7,300
Nabers has been one of the league’s most productive receivers through seven games, recording 48 receptions for 605 yards and two touchdowns. He has posted 111 or more receiving yards in three consecutive games, including 165 yards against New Orleans and 111 against Houston.
At $7,300, Nabers is a major ceiling play. Philadelphia is rated 30th in the wide receiver matchup rankings, and his consistent target volume gives him a strong opportunity to deliver another productive outing.
Sam LaPorta – TE, $5,100
LaPorta has recorded 31 receptions for 367 yards and three touchdowns through seven games. He has also produced two 80-plus-yard performances this season, including 88 yards and a touchdown against Arizona. Pro Football Reference+1
At $5,100, LaPorta is a mid-range tight end offering touchdown upside. Miami is rated 30th in the tight end matchup rankings, giving him a favorable possibility to contribute in Detroit’s passing attack.
Jonah Coleman – FLEX, $5,300
Coleman has shown skillfulness as both a runner and receiver. In Week 8, he rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown and caught four passes for 63 yards against Kansas City. He also rushed for 54 yards against Arizona in Week 7.
At $5,300, Coleman offers value through his receiving involvement and recent scoring production. Carolina is rated 31st in the running back matchup rankings, making this an appealing spot if his workload remains steady.
Texans DST – $3,500
Houston is a mid-priced defensive option at $3,500 against the Chargers. The matchup is rated 32nd in the defensive rankings, making this one of the more favorable spots on the slate.
The Texans can return value through sacks, turnovers, and pressure on the quarterback. At this salary, even a modest defensive performance could make them a useful lineup piece.
