Eagles Coming Off Ugly Loss To Pats
The public outwitted sharp bettors in Philadelphia’s Week 11 date with the Patriots, as 76% of all wagers backed New England, fading the Eagles to 4.5-point underdogs by game time after opening at +3.

Racked by injuries to key offensive personnel, including receiver Alshon Jeffrey and running back Darren Sproles, the Eagles failed to maintain the momentum they gained from back-to-back wins over Buffalo and Chicago, blowing an early 10-0 lead on their way to a 17-10 loss to the defending Super Bowl champions. Now faced with the challenge of a second straight date with an opponent that looks bound for the postseason, the Eagles may once again struggle to maintain their opening position on the odds board.
Eagles Faded at Home with Regularity
Getting faded at home is nothing new for Philadelphia. After opening the season with a pair of against the spread losses, including a 24-20 loss in Atlanta as 1-point road chalk in Week 2, the Eagles quickly tumbled from their position as Monday morning 8-point home chalk in their Week 3 matchup with the Detroit Lions, eventually hitting the gridiron without Jeffrey and DeSean Jackson, and dropping a 27-24 decision as depleted 4.5-point favorites.
As a combined group, Eagles WRs have topped 75 receiving yards just twice in the eight games since DeSean Jackson's Week 2 injury.

The Eagles lost ground in the game line odds in their home dates with the Washington Redskins and New York Jets before rebounding to their opening position ahead of game time in each of those contests. And injuries will once again be a concern for Philadelphia. Both Jackson and Sproles are done for the season, while running backs Corey Clement and Jordan Howard, and defensive tackles Malik Jackson and Hassan Ridgeway remain on the shelf, with their status for Week 12 still to be determined.
Rested Seahawks On a Roll
Conversely, Seattle returns to action in Sunday afternoon’s Seahawks vs Eagles matchup at Lincoln Financial Field after enjoying a well-earned bye in Week 11. The Seahawks are riding a three-game wining streak, capped by a thrilling 27-24 win in San Francisco as 6.5-point underdogs in Week 10.

With quarterback Russell Wilson displaying form that has lifted him to the top of the NFL MVP odds, the Seahawks have averaged over 31 points per game during their current surge
Seattle faces some injury issues of its own, most notably wide receiver Tyler Lockett, who was hobbled by a leg injury in the team’s win over the 49ers. But with quarterback Russell Wilson displaying form that has lifted him to the top of the NFL MVP odds, the Seahawks have averaged over 31 points per game during their current surge.
Seahawks Due to be Rewarded for Road Dominance
In addition, the Seahawks dominance on the road cannot be overlooked. The squad has won five straight away from CenturyLink Field, with outright victories as underdogs over the 49ers, Cleveland Browns, and Pittsburgh Steelers. They’re 4-1 ATS on the road this season, and 8-2 ATS in their past 10 away from home.
Wow. Game of the Year so far.

The Seahawks have also outclassed the Eagles historically in past visits to Philadelphia. They’ve won and covered in four straight while outscoring Philly by a 132-38 margin. With the well-rested Seahawks returning to action against an Eagles squad struggling to score points and sway sports bettors, now is the time to get in on Seattle, before the line starts tilting in their favor.
