George Kittle Receiving Yards

One player we are looking to hit in the NFL Player Props Divisional Round is San Fransisco 49ers tight end George Kittle. Not only are the 49ers entering the divisional round with the best Super Bowl odds but Kittle lands an excellent matchup in his 2024 postseason debut.

The Green Bay Packers have struggled defending tight ends all season, allowing 10 total TDs to the position group this season. In the Wild Card round, the Packers surrendered three passing touchdowns to Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson.

Kittle’s early receiving yards prop at FanDuel is set at 51.5, which is well below his season average of 63.8 receiving yards. He’s gone over this player prop number for Saturday in 10 of his 16 games this season (62.5%).

There are other George Kittle player props we might hit in the coming days, but his receiving yards number is the one that jumps out to us today. In three career games against the Packers, Kittle has averaged 5.6 receptions and 83.6 receiving yards.

There is minor concern for Kittle’s health, as he missed the Week 18 game against the Rams due to back spasms. However, the latest Kittle injury update is the star tight end is expected to suit up on Saturday. He’s played 89% of SF’s offensive snaps this season, getting targeted an average of 5.63 times per game.

Josh Allen Completions

Buffalo Josh Allen played a huge role in the Bills’ Wild Card victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, accounting for four total touchdowns. We are targeting Allen’s arm as he goes toe-to-toe with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Orchard Park. The Bills are early favorites in the NFL odds.

Allen has completed at least 20 passes in all nine of his career playoff games, including 25-plus completions in each of his two prior postseason contests vs Kanas City. In the regular-season matchup against the Chiefs, Allen went 21-of-30 for 233 yards.

The Chiefs’ stifling rush defense is allowing just 76 yards per game, so we expect the Bills to air it out often. The Chiefs’ secondary has allowed at least 23 completions to the opposing QB in five of their past eight games. Even in freezing temperatures, Miami’s Tua Tagovalioa completed 20 passes against KC.

FanDuel has set early lines for Allen’s completions (21.5) and total pass attempts (33.5). We are locking in the over on both these numbers as the weather forecast is calling for improved temperatures, with a high of 24 degrees and a low of 19 on Sunday.

Jahmyr Gibbs Rushing Yards

While we are bullish on George Kittle and Josh Allen in our early NFL player props divisional round, we’re looking to fade Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs in his matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. FanDuel is most optimistic about Gibb’s performance vs TB, setting Gibbs’ rushing prop at 47.5 yards.

DraftKings and BetMGM both have the Gibbs’ rushing total two points lower, so we’re looking to take advantage at FD before potential line movement. Gibbs has only averaged 32.6 rushing yards in his past three games and now faces a Buccaneers rush defense that is allowing just 92.3 yards per game on the ground this season.

In the first matchup this season between the two NCF teams, the Bucs held the Lions to just 40 rushing yards despite Detroit winning 20-6. Gibbs didn’t play in that game, however, so this will be the rookie’s first matchup against the Bucs defense.

With the Lions other leading back David Montgomery getting double-digit carries in 10 straight games, we don’t think Gibbs will get enough volume to get over this number against this stout TB rush defense. Just make sure to get the line here at FanDuel where the number is the highest.
