The Week 9 NFL slate concludes on Monday Night Football in New Orleans, as the Saints (3-5, 2-3 home) square off with the Ravens (5-3, 3-1 away) and there are plenty of MNF props worth betting bet.

There’s no shortage of star power with names like Lamar Jackson and Alvin Kamara prominently featured, but Jackson will have his work cut out for him as his pass-catching corps is decimated. Star tight end Mark Andrews is expected to miss the game, while number one receiver Rashod Bateman is done for the season.

With uncertainly surrounding Jackson’s weapons, we’re going to lean New Orleans heavy in our Ravens vs Saints Week 9 player props. Our card will start with Kamara, whose pass-catching role isn’t getting the respect it deserves.

Kamara has an over/under receptions prop of 4.5, which is one less than teammate Chris Olave’s. Kamara has caught more passes than Olave in each of the past three games where they’ve both been active, and he’s a strong bet to do so again on MNF.

MNF Prop #1: Alvin Kamara Over 4.5 Receptions

Kamara has reception totals of 9, 7, 6 and 6 over his past four games. All of those contests have been with Andy Dalton under center, and it’s no secret to anyone who’s followed the Red Rocket’s career that he loves to check the ball down.

Kamara is seeing the type of pass volume he used to with Drew Brees, as opposed to the scarce workload he saw with Jameis Winston. The ladder refuses to check the ball down, which nullifies one of the Saints’ most dangerous weapons. Over the past two weeks, Kamara has a 91.0 and 81.5 receiving grades, which is among the league leaders for running backs.

New Orleans is a 2-point underdog in this matchup, and if they fall behind early, that only increases Kamara’s chances of a big workload through the air in comeback mode.

Pick: Alvin Kamara Over 4.5 Receptions (-130), 1 unit

MNF Prop #2: Andy Dalton Under 4.5 Rushing Yards

One of the reasons Dalton loves to check the ball down is so that he doesn’t have to scramble. The 35-year-old has little interest in scrambling these days, and when he does take off it’s usually for a minuscule gain.

Dalton has 4 or fewer rushing yards in four of five starts this season. Last week versus the Raiders he didn’t scramble once, and same goes for two games earlier against Cincinnati. He’s averaging just 2.3 yards per rush this season, and I’m betting he stays under 5 yards on the ground on MNF.

Pick: Andy Dalton Under 4.5 Rushing Yards (-120), 1 unit

Back to Kamara for a moment, as he is the only player listed as an odds-on favorite to get a touchdown in the Ravens vs Saints props.

MNF Prop #3: Taysom Hill Anytime TD Scorer

Remember when there was talk that Taysom Hill would no longer be a TD vulture once Sean Payton got out of town? Well, that certainly didn’t last long. Hill has already scored 6 TD this season, the second most of any of his five NFL seasons.

He’s scored in four of his seven games and is capable of getting into the end zone both through the air or on the ground. Speaking of his legs though, he’s been especially dangerous as a runner this season. Hill is averaging a career-best 8.6 yards per carry and has already racked up three games with at least 60 yards rushing.

Pick: Taysom Hill Anytime TD Scorer (+180), 1 unit
