  • Read below for updated 2025 Super Bowl MVP odds and predictions

With Championship Sunday on the horizon, it’s time to dive into the latest odds for who will be named Super Bowl 59 MVP. Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and Bills QB Josh Allen lead the pack, but there’s a new contender emerging in Eagles RB Saquon Barkley.

Let’s break down the Super Bowl favorites, biggest movers, and top-value picks to take home the hardware in New Orleans.

Updated Super Bowl MVP Odds & Betting Favorites

Patrick Mahomes (Chiefs) +275
Josh Allen (Bills) +275
Saquon Barkley (Eagles) +400
Jalen Hurts (Eagles) +500
Jayden Daniels (Commanders) +850
Travis Kelce (Chiefs) +2500
A.J. Brown (Eagles) +3000
James Cook (Bills) +6000
Devonta Smith (Eagles) +6600
Xavier Worthy (Chiefs) +8000

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (+275) and Bills QB Josh Allen (+275) are deadlocked atop the odds board after the Divisional Round. As the league’s top two quarterbacks clash in the AFC title game, the winner will likely be the MVP favorite heading into the Super Bowl.

However, Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (+400) is making a strong case to join the top tier. The All-Pro back has been a one-man wrecking crew in the playoffs, rumbling for 324 yards and two scores in two games. He’s fresh off dismantling the Rams for 205 yards in the Divisional Round.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts (+500) remains a strong value at 5/1 odds. While he doesn’t post gaudy numbers, Hurts’ dual-threat ability and leadership have the Eagles two wins away from a title. If the Eagles win it all, Hurts will be in the thick of the MVP conversation.

Biggest Super Bowl MVP Odds Movers

Saquon Barkley (+550 to +400)

Barkley is on a mission this postseason. After steamrolling the Rams for 205 yards, the Eagles’ workhorse has seen his MVP odds shorten from +550 to +400. He’s racked up 50.89% of Philly’s postseason yards, and if they win it all, Barkley could easily be the first RB to win SB MVP since Terrell Davis in 1998.

Jayden Daniels (+3200 to +850)

What a story Daniels has been. The Commanders’ electric rookie QB stunned the NFL world by leading Washington to a monster upset over the top-seeded Lions. Daniels dazzled with 299 pass yards, 51 rush yards and 2 TDs, becoming just the second rookie QB to ever beat a No. 1 seed. If the Commanders shock the world and win the Super Bowl, Daniels will be the MVP.

Top Super Bowl MVP Longshot Picks

Travis Kelce (Chiefs) +2500

Kelce just keeps making history. The future Hall of Famer set a new record for most 100-yard playoff games by a tight end (7) after torching Houston for 117 yards and a score. He accounted for a whopping 66% of Mahomes’ passing yards. If the Chiefs win a low-scoring defensive battle, Kelce could easily be named MVP.

A.J. Brown (Eagles) +3000

At 30/1 odds, Brown looks like a juicy value in the MVP market. The Eagles’ No. 1 receiver made a number of clutch catches in their win over the Rams and has the big-play ability to swing a game. His size and contested catch skills make him a prime candidate for a signature Super Bowl moment that could sway MVP voters.

Chris Jones (Chiefs) +10000

I know defensive players rarely win MVP, but Jones is an intriguing flier at 100/1. The Chiefs’ disruptive DT is second in the playoffs with 3.0 sacks and has the talent to wreck a game if he gets to the quarterback. With Jones anchoring a strong KC defense, a dominant performance on the biggest stage isn’t out of the question.

Super Bowl MVP Best Bet: Josh Allen (+275)

While the MVP race looks wide open, I’m sticking with my original pick, Josh Allen, now at +275.

The Bills’ superstar has been playing out of his mind this postseason. He ranks second in passing yards (399) and first in rushing yards among remaining QBs (88). More importantly, Allen has proven he thrives under the brightest lights.

Remember, Allen led a comeback against the Broncos in the wild-card round despite playing on a bum ankle. And a few years back, he went toe-to-toe with Mahomes in an all-time classic playoff duel at Arrowhead, only to fall short in overtime without touching the ball.

This year feels different. The Bills are healthier than ever, and Allen is playing like a man possessed. Look for him to get revenge on Mahomes, seal the deal this time, and earn Super Bowl MVP honors as he leads Buffalo to its long-awaited first title.
