Fred Warner and TJ Watt are also on the rise, while Aidan Hutchinson and Dallas Turner lost ground.

Biggest Movers in NFL Defensive Player of the Year Odds

Jeffery Simmons (CHI, DT)

After being traded from the Titans to the Bears and impressing in his first game on MNF, Simmons made the clearest jump, surging from 2¢ (+4900) after Week 7 to 12¢ (+733) on Nov 3. That is a 10-cent increase, or roughly 10 percentage points of implied probability. He is now tied with Warner for the second-highest price on the board, behind Anderson.

Simmons has established himself as the NFL’s premier interior disrupter, tallying 44 tackles, 5.0 sacks, and 8 tackles for loss through eight starts. His disruptive Week 8 showing against Seattle (6 tackles, 1.0 sack, 2 TFLs) cemented his status as a true blue-chip anchor commanding relentless double-teams.

TJ Watt (PIT, EDGE)

Watt rose four cents, advancing from 7¢ (+1329) to 11¢ (+809) as Pittsburgh continues to lead the AFC North at 6-2. Watt has caught fire over the last two weeks, piling up 3.0 sacks and 3 tackles for loss across victories over New Orleans and Cleveland. That surge pushes his season totals to 7.5 sacks (tied for the NFL lead), 9 tackles for loss, and 1 interception, proving the former winner remains in prime form to capture another trophy.

Fred Warner (SF, LB)

Warner climbed two cents, improving from 10¢ (+900) to 12¢ (+733) to share the second spot on the board with Simmons. Warner remains the undisputed heartbeat of San Francisco’s top-ranked defense, racking up 72 total tackles, 4 forced fumbles, and 3 tackles for loss through seven games. His masterclass performance in Week 7 against Atlanta – recording 14 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and a forced fumble—exemplifies why oddsmakers view him as the game’s most complete off-ball linebacker.

Will Anderson Jr (HOU, EDGE)

Anderson remains at the top of the board at 30¢ (+233) after a modest two-cent rise from 28¢ (+257). Anderson anchors Houston’s edge rush with 7.5 sacks and a league-leading 10 tackles for loss through seven games. With 33 tackles and consistent backfield penetration, oddsmakers continue to price the second-year edge defender as the prohibitive front-runner.

Aidan Hutchinson (DET, EDGE)

Hutchinson slipped two cents, dipping from 13¢ (+669) to 11¢ (+809). While Hutchinson remains among the league’s top pass rushers with 5.0 sacks and 21 tackles, he was held without a sack in Detroit’s Week 8 showdown against Minnesota. That slight disruption in pass-rush finish allowed Watt and Simmons to bridge the pricing gap.

Dallas Turner (MIN, EDGE)

Turner suffered the largest decline on the board, tumbling four cents from 7¢ (+1329) to 3¢ (+3233). After a scorching opening month, Turner has cooled off during Minnesota’s recent stretch, failing to record a full sack across Weeks 7 and 8 against Indianapolis and Detroit. Despite holding 6.0 sacks and 2 forced fumbles on the year, his reduced pass-rush output caused prediction markets to sharply reassess his award ceiling.

DeMarcus Lawrence (CIN, DT)

Lawrence drifted two cents, falling from 7¢ (+1329) to 5¢ (+1900). Lawrence has provided stout run defense for Seattle with 17 tackles and 3 tackles for loss, but a lack of sack production (0.0 sacks through eight games) has capped his market momentum in a category heavily driven by backfield disruption.

Greg Rousseau (BUF, EDGE)

Rousseau held steady at 3¢ (+3233), remaining unchanged from Week 7 to Nov 3. The Buffalo edge rusher continues to put together an exceptional campaign with 7.0 sacks, 24 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, and 3 forced fumbles through seven games, providing elite pressure off the edge for one of the AFC’s top rosters.

Danielle Hunter (HOU, EDGE)

Danielle Hunter Hunter was also unchanged at 2¢ (+4900) over the same span. Hunter provides veteran punch opposite Anderson along Houston’s defensive front, logging 4.0 sacks, 17 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 1 forced fumble through seven starts as the Texans battle for positioning in the AFC South
