Best Passing Props to Bet for Week 10

1) Justin Fields over 1.5 passing touchdowns (+195); risk 0.50 units at DraftKings Sportsbook

After watching Justin Fields throw a combined two passing touchdowns in the first four games this season and just five in his first seven games, this pick doesn’t quite sit right. But … the Bears’ offense and Fields have suddenly come to life in the past two weeks. Fields threw for two scores in Week 8, a 49-29 loss to the Cowboys. Then he threw for three TDs in last week’s 35-32 loss to the Dolphins. The wins may not yet be coming for Chicago but Fields’ player prop stock is rising.

The Lions allow a league-worst 29.3 PPG and have allowed an opposing QB to throw for multiple TD passes in half of their games this season.

2) Tua Tagovailoa over 1.5 passing touchdowns (-165); risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook

Tua Tagovailoa is 6-1 this year under center. Since returning from injury he’s 3-0 and has been torching opposing secondaries. Last week he was 21/30 for 302 yards and three passing touchdowns. The week prior he was 29/36 for nearly 400 yards (382) and another three scores.

3) Aaron Rodgers over 0.5 interceptions (+135); risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook

The 3-6 Packers are spiraling and just lost 15-9 to Detroit last week. In that defeat, Aaron Rodgers threw three interceptions. He threw another the week before as well. On the season, he’s thrown seven picks and at least one in five of nine games.

Rodgers’ three INTs last week came against a Lions’ defense that is just 29th in passing defense. Now they’ll face the Dallas D that ranks fourth against the pass.

Rodgers is likely to be under pressure all day as the Cowboys rank first in sacks (33), third in turnover-differential (+6) and 13th in interceptions (7). Bet Rodgers being forced into some risky throws on Sunday, resulting in him going over 0.5 interceptions in his player prop. If that wasn’t bad enough, a quick look at the Packers’ injury report as of Thursday, showed 8/11 offensive starters listed as questionable. This could get ugly.

NFL Rushing Props

Prop Odds Risk
Saquon Barkley Over 93.5 Rushing Yards -125 1 unit
Kenneth Walker Over 77.5 Rushing Yards -125 1 unit
Khalil Herbert Over 41.5 Rushing Yards -115 1 unit

We’re targeting Saquon Barkley and Kenneth Walker III and Khalil Herbert for our Week 10 NFL player props.

Best Rushing Props to Bet for Week 10

1) Saquon Barkley over 93.5 rushing yards (-125); risk 1 unit DraftKings Sportsbook

Fresh off their bye week, the New York Giants and Saquon Barkley return home to face the 1-6-1 Houston Texans.

Houston ranks dead-last in rushing yards allowed per game at 180.6. That’s over 30 yards more per game than the 31st-ranked team, the Lions, who give up 148.8.

Houston allowed 143 rushing yards to the Eagles in their last game, 314 to Tennessee the week prior (of which Derrick Henry had 219), and 164 the week before to the Raiders.

Barkley may have had a down week, rushing for only 53 yards, his lowest total of the year, in his last game, but he’s still third in league rushing with 779 yards, good for 97.4 YPG.

2) Kenneth Walker III over 77.5 rushing yards (-125); risk 1 unit DraftKings Sportsbook

The Buccaneers may rank fifth against the pass, but against the run, they’re just 23rd, allowing 125.2 YPG.

That should mean a heavy dose of Kenneth Walker III who is the current favorite in NFL OROY odds. Walker has 570 yards on the year and his seven rushing TDs are only behind Nick Chubb (10), Derrick Henry (9) and Jamaal Williams (8).

Walker had 109 rushing yards last week and two scores. It was the fifth straight game he’s found the endzone. Walker’s yards per carry is 5.1, which ranks 16th in the league.

His rushing totals the past five weeks have read 109, 51, 167, 97 and 88.

3) Khalil Herbert over 41.5 rushing yards (-115); risk 1 unit DraftKings Sportsbook

The Bears’ running game looks to be in line for a big day in Week 10 as they go up against a Lions’ rush defense that allows the second-most yards per game at 148.8.

The only problem is that Chicago has a two-headed beast in its’ backfield with both Khalil Herbert and David Montgomery splitting the carries, and almost equally. Herbert has run the ball 98 times this season, compared to 106 by Montgomery.

Last week Herbert only ran the ball seven times for 23 yards. However, in the weeks prior he ran for 99, 62, and 74 yards. He’s also had 77, 157, 38 and 45-yard games earlier this season.

Montgomery has seen double-digit carries in all but one game this season. But his total rushing yardage prop Sunday is set at 57.5. He’s only gone over that total in 3/8 games this season.

Herbert’s total is set lower at 41.5. He’s eclipsed that mark in 6/9 games and missed it by four yards in another game. Herbert tops Montgomery in yards-per-carry (6.0 to 3.7) and in total yards (586 to 397). With the lower prop total, I’ll side with Herbert.

NFL Receiving Props

Prop Odds Risk
Mike Evans Over 67.5 Receiving Yards -115 1 unit
Joshua Palmer Over 4.5 Receptions -155 1 unit

We have a combination of receiving yards and receptions player props for Week 10 above.

Best Receiving Props to Bet for Week 10

1) Mike Evans over 67.5 receiving yards (-115); risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook

Seattle only ranks 20th against the pass, and despite Tampa Bay only scoring 18 PPG and being 4-5, Tom Brady is still second in league passing. The Bucs don’t run the ball, meaning tons of passes for Tampa receivers.

Many of those passes go to Mike Evans who leads the team in targets, receptions, yards and receiving touchdowns.

The past three weeks have seen Evans get double-digit targets resulting in a combined 259 yards.

2) Joshua Palmer over 4.5 receptions (-155); risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook

Both Mike Williams and Keenan Allen are still listed as questionable for the Chargers heading into Week 10. That means the door is open for someone else to pick up the slack. Last week in Los Angeles’ 20-17 win in Atlanta, Justin Herbert completed 30 passes to just five different players. The leader in the clubhouse was Joshua Palmer with eight catches for 108 yards.

Let’s look to Palmer once again getting the eye of Herbert and going over his receptions player prop for NFL Week 10.

Touchdown Props

Prop Odds Risk
Saquon Barkley Anytime TD -195 1 unit
Christian McCaffrey Anytime TD -255 1.5 units
Tyreek Hill Anytime TD -140 1 unit

Let’s focus on three big-time players in Barkley, Christian McCaffrey and Tyreek Hill to find the endzone this weekend.

Here’s who I like to find the endzone and why for my Week 10 NFL player props:

  1. Saquon Barkley anytime touchdown (-195); risk 1 unit at Caesars Sportsbook: We already backed Barkley to have a big day on the ground in our earlier rushing props, so it makes sense we double-down and bet him to find the endzone too, something he’s done in 5/8 games this season. Surely against the league’s worst rushing defense, he’ll add to that total on Sunday.
  2. Christian McCaffrey anytime touchdown (-255); risk 1.5 units at DraftKings Sportsbook: San Fran is coming off a bye and will host the Los Angeles Chargers who rank 29th against the run, giving up 145.5 YPG on the ground. Great news for the newly-minted San Fran running back who just went off for 94 yards and a rushing TD in his last game with the 49ers. But McCaffrey isn’t limited to just rushing scores. Against the Rams, he scored a rushing TD, a receiving TD and even a passing TD. That was 183 total combined yards and three scores. It’s why we’re paying a massive price to back him this week, but surely there will be plenty of plays drawn up for McCaffrey every time the 49ers sniff the endzone.
  3. Tyreek Hill anytime touchdown (-140): risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook: Tyreek Hill is the league’s leading receiver in yards (1,104) and receptions (76). He’s constantly seeing passes come his way and has only finished with under seven catches once in nine games this season. Last week he went off for 143 yards and a score. The week prior he finished with 188 yards. While he only has three receiving touchdowns on the year, the Browns only rank 22nd against the pass, 21st in opponent red zone TD scoring and 24th in points allowed per game.
