Super Bowl odds favorites San Fran and Baltimore have clinched the top seed in their conferences and will likely be resting players. With five spots in the NFL playoff bracket still to be decided, many games have plenty on the line and could have betting value.

Steelers vs Ravens Line & Early Prediction

Baltimore has nothing to play for here while Pittsburgh’s playoff lives hang in the balance. So despite being on the road and the lower seed, it’s Steelers -4 in the Week 18 opening odds.

Pittsburgh has already beaten Baltimore once this season, 17-10 in Pittsburgh and they’ve owned this rivalry of late winning six of the past seven meetings. They’ve not gone to Baltimore and won by more than four though since 2018.

Even with the possibility of Tyler Huntley at quarterback and other backups taking the field, John Harbaugh usually takes all games seriously. We see it in the pre-season each year. The Ravens will still play hard at home with a chance to keep their rivals out of the playoffs and keep this close.

  • Pick: Ravens (+4)

Cowboys vs Commanders Line & Early Prediction

With Arizona’s shocking upset over Philadelphia, Dallas now controls their fate in the hunt for the NFL East Division title. Both the Cowboys and Eagles are tied at 11-5 but Dallas owns the tiebreaker with a better conference record.

Dallas is not the same team on the road as at home where they’re 3-5 versus 8-0, but it’s not like Washington has any real homefield advantage where they’re just 1-6 themselves. Washington just lost at home by 17 points last week and have given up 30, 28, 45, 45, 31 and 29 points in their games prior. That includes two 30-point defeats, including a 45-10 loss to this Dallas team.

  • Pick: Cowboys (-13.5)

Bears vs Packers Early Prediction & Expected Week 18 Line Movement

I can see some upset potential here and picks coming in on the Bears with Chicago traveling to Green Bay. The Bears may be out of the playoffs, but they can still play spoiler to the Packers who need a win in Week 18. The Bears are +3 in the Week 18 opening odds and have struggled mightily versus the Packers.

Green Bay won 38-20 earlier this season, have won each of the past nine and also 26 of the past 30 games between them.

But the Packers’ only two wins in the past month have come just barely over the Panthers 33-30 and then 33-10 over the Vikings last week with rookie Jaren Hall starting and then getting pulled after putting Minnesota in a massive halftime hole.

The Bears are ending the season on a high having won two in a row and four of five. Chicago is 8-6-2 ATS overall and 6-5-1 as an underdog, while Green Bay is 1-3 ATS in their past four games.

  • Pick: Bears (+3)
