The matchup is locked in. Carolina punched its ticket to the Stanley Cup Final with a 6-1 Game 5 win to close out Montreal, setting up a showdown with a Vegas team that swept Colorado to reach the championship round. The Hurricanes are back in the Final for the first time since hoisting the Cup in 2006.
FanDuel has Carolina as a -162 favorite, though the line has tightened since the lookahead. The Canes were as high as -196 before the series was confirmed and have since come down toward Vegas. Game 1 is Tuesday, June 2 at 8:00 PM ET in Raleigh.
Hurricanes vs Golden Knights Stanley Cup Final Odds
The Hurricanes vs Golden Knights odds show Carolina as a -162 series favorite, a 61.8% implied probability to win the Cup. Vegas comes back at +134, giving the Knights a 42.7% implied chance.
The series spread has Carolina -1.5 at +134, which needs the Canes to win in four, five, or six games. Vegas +1.5 at -172 cashes if the Knights win the series or push it to a Game 7. FanDuel expects a long series with the over 5.5 games juiced to -196.

Hurricanes vs Golden Knights Schedule
*If necessary.
The Hurricanes vs Golden Knights schedule opens Tuesday, June 2 at 8:00 PM ET from Lenovo Center in Raleigh, with every game airing on ABC. Carolina holds home ice for the Final, hosting Games 1, 2, 5, and 7.
Hurricanes vs Golden Knights Series Preview
It starts with Frederik Andersen. The veteran has been the best goalie in the playoffs by a wide margin, posting an 11-1 record with a 1.38 GAA, .930 save percentage and three shutouts. Carolina has lost just one game all postseason, sweeping Ottawa and Philadelphia before handling Montreal in five.
The Canes have rolled all four lines. Taylor Hall (16 points) and Jackson Blake (15) have been point-per-game players, Logan Stankoven leads the team with 9 goals, and K’Andre Miller paces the blue line at a team-best plus-13.
Hurricanes vs Golden Knights Playoff Comparison
Vegas counters with the best 1-2 punch left in the playoffs. Mitch Marner leads all postseason scorers with 21 points (7 goals, 14 assists), and Jack Eichel has 18 points on 16 assists. Pavel Dorofeyev and Brett Howden have each buried 10 goals, giving the Knights the kind of depth that won them the Cup in 2023.
The wrinkle is the regular season. Vegas swept Carolina 2-0 this year, winning both meetings 5-2 and outscoring the Canes 10-4. But the five-year series is dead even at 6-6, so there’s no clean read there. Vegas is also the more experienced team in this spot, reaching its third Cup Final since 2018 while Carolina hasn’t been here in nearly two decades.
Hurricanes vs Golden Knights Prediction
- Hurricanes Series Moneyline (-162 at FanDuel)
I’m taking Carolina to win the Cup. Andersen has been the difference-maker all postseason, and a 1.38 GAA at this stage is the kind of goaltending that wins championships. Pair that with home ice, where Cup Final hosts have won roughly 59% of games historically, and the Canes have the edge in the two areas that matter most in June.
Vegas is dangerous, and Marner and Eichel can win any series on their own. The regular season sweep is a real flag. But Carolina’s depth and Andersen’s form have been a level above anything Vegas faced in the West, and Hart will have to match a goalie playing the best hockey of the postseason. I’ll lay the -162 and back the Hurricanes.
