Saturday’s NHL card gives prop bettors plenty to work with, but I’m keeping it tight with three plays. Each one is built on season-long production, steady minutes and an opponent that has struggled to keep pucks out of its own net.
My anytime goalscorer pick targets a high-volume shooter facing a leaky penalty kill. I’m pairing it with two point props, where a goal or an assist gets the ticket home, so neither player needs to light the lamp to cash.
Here are my NHL player props and anytime goalscorer picks for Saturday, Oct. 24, plus the sportsbook price on each and why I’m backing them.

Saturday NHL Player Props & Anytime Goalscorer Analysis
NHL Prop Pick #1: Kirill Kaprizov Anytime Goalscorer
Pick: Kirill Kaprizov anytime goal (-105 at bet365)
Kirill Kaprizov is my anytime goalscorer pick after scoring 11 goals in 11 games to go with six assists and 17 points. Production like that belongs in any Rocket Richard odds discussion, andI’m happy to take the 50% implied chance on him scoring Saturday.
The volume backs up the goal total. Kaprizov has 38 shots on goal and three power-play goals while logging 21:48 per night, so he’ll get plenty of looks in this matchup.
Seattle has been a friendly opponent for shooters, allowing 3.36 goals and 31.5 shots per game. The Kraken penalty kill sits at 68.8%, giving Kaprizov a second route to the scoresheet if Minnesota draws a call or two.
NHL Prop Pick #2: William Nylander Over 0.5 Points
Pick: William Nylander Over 0.5 points (-210 at BetMGM)
I’m leaning on William Nylander’s playmaking for my first point prop. He has 16 points in 12 games, split between six goals and 10 assists, and has put 34 shots on net.
Six of those points have come on the power play, including two goals, and Edmonton’s penalty kill is running at just 72.4%. The Oilers are also giving up 3.20 goals per game, which leaves plenty of room for Nylander to chip in.
Caesars has him at -190, about a 65.5% implied chance and the priciest number on this card. With 20:23 of ice time per game and two ways to cash, I’m comfortable paying it.
NHL Prop Pick #3: Evgeni Malkin Over 0.5 Points
Pick: Evgeni Malkin Over 0.5 points (-132 at Caesars)
I’m wrapping up my NHL player props with Evgeni Malkin, who has nine points in 11 games. Six of those are goals, two on the power play, and he’s fired 22 shots on goal while playing 17:02 per night.
Nashville has allowed 3.11 goals and 29.3 shots per game, but its 83.3% penalty kill is the toughest unit of this trio. That puts more weight on Malkin’s work outside the power play, where four of his six goals have come.
The -130 price translates to roughly a 56.5% chance, a friendlier number than Nylander’s. One goal or one assist is all this ticket needs, and Malkin has been finding the scoresheet often enough to get there.
