Barca disappointingly crashed out of the Champions League group stages and fell into Europa, but they’ve really picked up their act since the turn of the year. Xavi’s arrival has done wonders for the La Liga giants, losing just once in 19 fixtures. To be honest, Frankfurt should’ve put more than a goal past Barca in the first leg but they failed to capitalize on clear-cut opportunities. The Germans are also coming off a dismal 2-1 defeat to Freiburg at the weekend. Prior, Frankfurt played to four draws in a row, scoring just twice in the process.

Of course, Glasner’s group already eliminated Betis in the last round and has managed to win three of their last four away from home vs Spanish opponents.
